އަދި އެއުރެންނީ، އެއުރެންނަށް އަނިޔާވެރިވުމެއް އަންނަހިނދު، نصر ލިބިގަންނަ މީހުންނެވެ.

it is allah who derides them, and leaves them bewildered in their rebellion.
اللَّه، އެއުރެން ކުޅަ ފުރައްސާރައިގެ ޖަޒާ އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްވާހުށްޓެވެ. އަދި ދެފުށުއެޅޭ حال ގައި، އެއުރެންގެ އުރެދުމުގައި އުޅުމަށް އެއުރެންނަށް މުއްދަތު ދިގުކުރައްވާނެތެވެ.

they said, "lord, we are afraid of his transgression and rebellion against us".
އެ ދެބޭކަލުން ދެންނެވިއެވެ. އަޅަމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާކޯއެވެ! އޭނާ އަޅަމެންގެ މައްޗަށް (عقوبات ދިނުމަށް) އަވަސްވެގަނެ، ނުވަތަ އަނިޔާވެރިވެ، ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައި ހިނގައިދާނެކަމަށް، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަޅަމެން ބިރުގަނެތެވެ.

then we shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the beneficent.
ދެން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކޮންމެ ބަޔެއްގެ ތެރެއިންވެސް އެއުރެންކުރެ رحمن ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް އެންމެ ދެކޮޅުވެރިކަން ބޮޑު މީހުން ވަކިކޮށް ނެރުއްވާހުށީމެވެ.

no one can guide those whom god has caused to go astray and has left to continue blindly in their rebellion.
اللَّه މަގުފުރައްދަވާމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެމީހަކަށް ތެދުމަގުދައްކާނޭ ފަރާތެއް ނުވެތެވެ. އަދި ދެވޭ ނުދެވޭ ތަނެއްނޭނގި ތިބޭ حال ގައި، ފުރެދުމުގެ ތެރެޔަށް އެކަލާނގެ އެއުރެން ދޫކުރައްވަތެވެ.

"nor had we any authority over you. nay, it was ye who were a people in obstinate rebellion!
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަކަށް ތިމަންމެންނަކަށް ބާރެއް ލިބިގެނެއް ނުވެއެވެ. އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! ތިޔަބަައިމީހުންވީ (ފުރެދުމުގައި) ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިފައިވާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައެވެ.

allah (befitting his majesty) mocks them, leaving them to wander blindly in their rebellion.
اللَّه، އެއުރެން ކުޅަ ފުރައްސާރައިގެ ޖަޒާ އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްވާހުށްޓެވެ. އަދި ދެފުށުއެޅޭ حال ގައި، އެއުރެންގެ އުރެދުމުގައި އުޅުމަށް އެއުރެންނަށް މުއްދަތު ދިގުކުރައްވާނެތެވެ.

for one whom allah sends astray, there is none to guide him; and he leaves them to wander in their rebellion.
اللَّه މަގުފުރައްދަވާމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެމީހަކަށް ތެދުމަގުދައްކާނޭ ފަރާތެއް ނުވެތެވެ. އަދި ދެވޭ ނުދެވޭ ތަނެއްނޭނގި ތިބޭ حال ގައި، ފުރެދުމުގެ ތެރެޔަށް އެކަލާނގެ އެއުރެން ދޫކުރައްވަތެވެ.

"and as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared lest he should oppress them by rebellion and disbelief.
އަދި އެ ފިރިހެންކުއްޖާއާމެދު ދަންނާށެވެ! ފަހެ، އޭނާގެ މައިންބަފައިންވީ (ހެޔޮލަފާ) مؤمن ން ކަމުގައެވެ. ފަހެ، އެ ދެމީހުން އުރެދި كافر ވާ ދަރަޖައަށް އެދެމީހުންނަށް އެ ކުއްޖާ އުނދަގޫކޮށް، އަނިޔާދީފާނެކަމަށް ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު ބިރުގަތީއެވެ.

and we turn away their hearts and their visions, as they refused to believe in it the first time, and we leave them blundering in their rebellion.
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތަކާއި، ލޯތައް (حق ގެ މަގުން) އެއްކިބާކުރައްވަމެވެ. އެއުރެން އެ آية ތަކަށް ފުރަތަމަ ފަހަރުވެސް، إيمان ނުވި ފަދައިން (إيمان އެއް ނުވާނެތެވެ.) އަދި ދެފުށުއެޅި ތިބޭ حال އެއްގައި، އެއުރެންގެ ފުރެދުމުގެ ތެރެޔަށް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެން ދޫކޮށްލައްވާހުށީމެވެ.

as for the boy, his parents were faithful [persons], and we feared he would overwhelm them with rebellion and unfaith.
އަދި އެ ފިރިހެންކުއްޖާއާމެދު ދަންނާށެވެ! ފަހެ، އޭނާގެ މައިންބަފައިންވީ (ހެޔޮލަފާ) مؤمن ން ކަމުގައެވެ. ފަހެ، އެ ދެމީހުން އުރެދި كافر ވާ ދަރަޖައަށް އެދެމީހުންނަށް އެ ކުއްޖާ އުނދަގޫކޮށް، އަނިޔާދީފާނެކަމަށް ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު ބިރުގަތީއެވެ.

and we revert their hearts and their eyes – the way they had not believed the first time – and we leave them to keep wandering blindly in their rebellion.
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތަކާއި، ލޯތައް (حق ގެ މަގުން) އެއްކިބާކުރައްވަމެވެ. އެއުރެން އެ آية ތަކަށް ފުރަތަމަ ފަހަރުވެސް، إيمان ނުވި ފަދައިން (إيمان އެއް ނުވާނެތެވެ.) އަދި ދެފުށުއެޅި ތިބޭ حال އެއްގައި، އެއުރެންގެ ފުރެދުމުގެ ތެރެޔަށް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެން ދޫކޮށްލައްވާހުށީމެވެ.

indeed allah decrees the commands of justice and kindness, and of giving to relatives, and forbids from the shameful and evil and rebellion; he advises you so that you may pay heed.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، عدل ވެރިވުމަށާއި، إحسان ތެރިވުމަށާއި، ގާތްތިމާގެ މީހުންނަށް ހެޔޮފޯރުވުމަށް اللَّه އަމުރުކުރައްވަތެވެ. އަދި ހުތުރުކަން ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ފާފަތަކާއި، منكرات ތަކާއި، އަނިޔާވެރިވެ އުޅުން، އެކަލާނގެ ނަހީކުރައްވަތެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް، وعظ އިއްވަވަނީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނދުމަކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

(little do they realize that) allah is mocking at them. he gives them rope enough, and they wander on and on blindly in their mischief and rebellion.
اللَّه، އެއުރެން ކުޅަ ފުރައްސާރައިގެ ޖަޒާ އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްވާހުށްޓެވެ. އަދި ދެފުށުއެޅޭ حال ގައި، އެއުރެންގެ އުރެދުމުގައި އުޅުމަށް އެއުރެންނަށް މުއްދަތު ދިގުކުރައްވާނެތެވެ.

and to those who had judaized we have forbidden all beasts with claws, and the fat of oxen and sheep except the fat which is either on their backs or their entrails, or that which sticks to the bones. thus did we requite them for their rebellion.
ނިޔަފަތިހުރި ކޮންމެ ސޫތްޕެއް، ޔަހޫދީންގެ މައްޗަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حرام ކުރެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ގެރިއާއި، ބަކަރީން އޭގެ ބުރިކަށީގައިވާ ސަރުބީއާއި، އޭގެ ގޮހޮރުގައިވާ ސަރުބީއާއި، ކަށްޓާ އެކުވެފައިވާ ސަރުބީފިޔަވައި، އެދޭތީގެ ސަރުބީ، އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް حرام ކުރެއްވީމެވެ. އެގޮތުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ޖަޒާދެއްވީ، އެއުރެންގެ ދެކޮޅުވެރިކަމާއި، އަނިޔާވެރިކަމުގެ ސަބަބުންނެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއީ، ތެދު وحى ކުރައްވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

"as for the youth, his parents were people of faith, and we feared that he would grieve them by obstinate rebellion and ingratitude (to allah and man).
އަދި އެ ފިރިހެންކުއްޖާއާމެދު ދަންނާށެވެ! ފަހެ، އޭނާގެ މައިންބަފައިންވީ (ހެޔޮލަފާ) مؤمن ން ކަމުގައެވެ. ފަހެ، އެ ދެމީހުން އުރެދި كافر ވާ ދަރަޖައަށް އެދެމީހުންނަށް އެ ކުއްޖާ އުނދަގޫކޮށް، އަނިޔާދީފާނެކަމަށް ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު ބިރުގަތީއެވެ.

(it was said to him): "ah now!- but a little while before, wast thou in rebellion!- and thou didst mischief (and violence)!
(އެވަގުތު فرعون އަށް އެންގެވިއެވެ. ކަލޭ ތިޔަ إيمان ވީ) މިހާރު ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ކަލޭ މީގެކުރިންވަނީ އުރެދިފައެވެ. އަދި ކަލޭވީ، ފަސާދަކުރާ މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ.
