އެކަލާނގެ وحى ކުރެއްވިއެވެ. ކުޑަހިނދުކޮޅަކުން އެއުރެން ހިތާމަކުރާ ބަޔަކުކަމުގައި ވާނޭކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

this is what you are promised – for every repenting, careful person.
(އަދި އަންގަވާނެތެވެ.) މިއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް وعد ކުރައްވާ ކަންތަކެވެ. (އެކަންއޮތީ) اللَّه ގެ حضرة އަށް ގިނަގިނައިން رجوع ވާ، އަދި އެކަލާނގެ عهد ތަކަށް ރައްކާތެރިވާ ކޮންމެ މީހަކަށެވެ.

he answered: "a short while, and they shall be repenting."
އެކަލާނގެ وحى ކުރެއްވިއެވެ. ކުޑަހިނދުކޮޅަކުން އެއުރެން ހިތާމަކުރާ ބަޔަކުކަމުގައި ވާނޭކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

feared the beneficent god in secret, and turned to him with a repenting heart".
(އެއީ) رحمن ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް غيب ގައި ބިރުވެތިވެ، އަދި އެކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް توبة ވާ ހިތަކާއިގެން އައި (ކޮންމެ) މީހެކެވެ.

those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، مؤمن ފިރިހެނުންނާއި، مؤمن އަންހެނުން، دين ން އެއްކިބާކުރުމަށް އަނިޔާދީ އުނދަގޫކޮށް، ދެން توبة ނުވި މީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް ނަރަކައިގެ عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް އަނދައަނދާ ހުންނަ އަލިފާނުގެ عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

except for those who return [repenting] before you apprehend them. and know that allah is forgiving and merciful.
އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ގަދަވެގަތުމުގެ ކުރިން، توبة ވި މީހުން މެނުވީއެވެ. ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ رحيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެކަން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ!

o people who believe! if any miscreant brings you some tidings, verify it, lest you unknowingly cause suffering to some people, and then remain repenting for what you did.
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެގާތަށް فاسق އަކު خبر އަކާއިގެން އަތުވެއްޖެނަމަ، އޭގެ ދޮގުތެދުބަލައި، حقيقة ހޯދާށެވެ! (އެއީ) ނޭނގިތިބެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ބަޔަކަށް ގެއްލުންދެވިދާނެތީއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެހެންވެއްޖެނަމަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކުރިކަންތަކުގެ މައްޗަށް ހިތާމަކުރާ ބަޔަކުކަމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ވެދާނެތެވެ.

evil (sins and disobedience of allah, etc.) has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of men have earned (by oppression and evil deeds, etc.), that allah may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return (by repenting to allah, and begging his pardon).
މީސްތަކުންގެ އަތްތަކުން ހޯދައިގަތް ކަންތަކުގެ ސަބަބުން، އެއްގަމާއި ކަނޑުގައި ނުބައިކަން ފާޅުވެއްޖެއެވެ. އެއުރެން ކުރި ބައެއް عمل ގެ ރަހަ އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްކެވުމަށެވެ. (އެއީ) އެއުރެން (توبة ވެ) رجوع ވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.
