ފަހެ، އެކަލޭގެފާނު ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކާއިގެން އެއުރެންގެގާތަށް ވަޑައިގަތްހިނދު، އެހާރުން އެ آية ތަކާމެދު، އެއުރެން މަލާމާތްކޮށް، ހެނއެވެ.

and no messenger would come to them except that they ridiculed him.
އަދި އެބޭކަލަކަށް އެއުރެން ފުރައްސާރަ ކުރާކަމުގައި ނުވާ އެއްވެސް رسول އަކު އެއުރެންގެ ގާތަކަށް ވަޑައެއް ނުގަންނަވަތެވެ.

but when he came to them with our signs, behold they ridiculed them.
ފަހެ، އެކަލޭގެފާނު ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކާއިގެން އެއުރެންގެގާތަށް ވަޑައިގަތްހިނދު، އެހާރުން އެ آية ތަކާމެދު، އެއުރެން މަލާމާތްކޮށް، ހެނއެވެ.

alas for the servants. no messenger ever came to them, but they ridiculed him.
އަޅުތަކުންގެ މައްޗަށްހުރި ހިތާމައެއްގެ ބޮޑުކަމާއެވެ! އެބޭކަލަކަށް އެއުރެން ފުރައްސާރަކުރާގޮތުގައި މެނުވީ، އެއުރެންގެ ގާތަށް އެއްވެސް رسول އަކު ވަޑައެއްނުގަންނަވަތެވެ.

they have denied the truth, but soon will come to them the news of what they ridiculed.
ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން (އެތަކެތި) ދޮގުކުރޫއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން އެކަންތަކަށް ފުރައްސާރަކޮށްއުޅުނު ކަންތަކުގެ خبر ތައް، ނިކަންހުރެ އެއުރެންގެ ގާތަށް އަންނަހުށްޓެވެ.

messengers before you were also ridiculed, but those who jeered were surrounded by what they had ridiculed.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކުރީގެ رسول ންނަށްވެސް ފުރައްސާރަކުރިއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެ رسول ންނަށް ފުރައްސާރަކޮށް އުޅުނުމީހުން ކުރަމުންގެންދިޔަ ފުރައްސާރައިގެ ކަންތައް (އެބަހީ: އެކަމުގެ ކޯފާއާއި عذاب) އެއުރެން ވަށައިލިއެވެ.

apostles were certainly derided before you. then those who ridiculed them were besieged by what they used to deride.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކުރީގެ رسول ންނަށްވެސް ފުރައްސާރަކުރިއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެ رسول ންނަށް ފުރައްސާރަކޮށް އުޅުނު މީހުން ކުރަމުންގެންދިޔަ ފުރައްސާރައިގެ ކަންތައް (އެބަހީ: އެކަމުގެ ކޯފާއާއި عذاب) އެއުރެން ވަށައިލިއެވެ.

and already were messengers ridiculed before you, but those who mocked them were enveloped by that which they used to ridicule.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކުރީގެ رسول ންނަށްވެސް ފުރައްސާރަކުރިއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެ رسول ންނަށް ފުރައްސާރަކޮށް އުޅުނު މީހުން ކުރަމުންގެންދިޔަ ފުރައްސާރައިގެ ކަންތައް (އެބަހީ: އެކަމުގެ ކޯފާއާއި عذاب) އެއުރެން ވަށައިލިއެވެ.

so they disbelieved the truth when it came to them; but they will soon come to know the reality of what they had ridiculed.
ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، حق ބަސްފުޅު އެއުރެންގެ ގާތަށް އައިހިނދު، އެއުރެން އެބަސް ދޮގުކުޅައެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން އެކަމަކަށް ފުރައްސާރަކޮށް އުޅުނު ކަންތަކުގެ خبر ތައް އަދި ފަހުން އެއުރެންގެ ގާތަށް އަންނާނެތެވެ.

but you ridiculed them. so much so that out of (spite) for them you forgot to remember me and laughed at them.
ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނީ، ފުރައްސާރަކުރެވޭ ބަޔެއްކަމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަދައިފީމުއެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ހަނދުމަކުޅައުންމަތިން އެއުރެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނދުމަނެތިކޮށްފުމަށް ދާނދެނެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނާމެދު މަލާމާތްކޮށް، ހޭނ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ވީމުއެވެ.

lest anyone should say, ‘alas for my negligence in the vicinage of allah! indeed i was among those who ridiculed.’
اللَّه ގެ ފަރާތަށް (އަދާކުރަންޖެހޭ ވާޖިބުތަކުގައި) މިއަޅާ ފަރުވާކުޑަކުރި ކަމަށްޓަކައި، މިއަޅާޔަށްހުރި ހިތާމައިގެ ބޮޑުކަމާއޭ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންކުރެ މީހަކަށް ބުނަންޖެހިދާނެތީއެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މިއަޅާވީ (دين އަށް) ފުރައްސާރަކުރާ މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ.

he has revealed to you in the book that when you hear god’s revelations being rejected, or ridiculed, do not sit with them until they engage in some other subject. otherwise, you would be like them.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ފޮތުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް ބާވައިލައްވާފައިވެއެވެ. اللَّه ގެ آية ތަކަށް كافر ވެ، އެ آية ތަކަށް މަލާމާތްކުރާ އަޑު ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އިވޭހިނދު، އެއުރެން އެހެން ވާހަކަޔެއް ދައްކަން ފަށައިފުމަށް ދާންދެން، އެއުރެންނާއެކު، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުތިބޭށެވެ! އެހެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތިބެނީނަމަ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކީވެސް އެއުރެންފަދަ ބަޔެކެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه، منافق ންނާއި كافر ންގެ އެންމެން ނަރަކަޔަށް އެއްކުރައްވާނެތެވެ.

and already were [other] messengers ridiculed before you, and i extended the time of those who disbelieved; then i seized them, and how [terrible] was my penalty.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކުރިންވެސް، رسول ންނަށް ފުރައްސާރަ ކުރިއެވެ. ފަހެ، كافر ވި މީހުންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ مهلة ދެއްވީމެވެ. ދެން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ عقوبات ދެއްވައި، އެއުރެން ހިއްޕެވީމެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ عقوبات ދެއްވުންވީ ކޮންފަދައަކުން ހެއްޔެވެ؟
