އެކަލޭގެފާނު ފިއްލަވައިގެން ވަޑައިގެން، ބަރާވެގެންވާ ނަވަށް އަރާވަޑައިގެންނެވިހިނދު ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!

and we carried nooh upon a ship of wooden planks and nails.
އަދި ފިލާތަކަކާއި، މޮހޮރުތަކަކުން ހަދާފައިވާ ނަވެއްގައި، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނު އުފުއްލެވީމެވެ.

a sign for them is that we carried their progeny in the laden ship,
އެއުރެންނަށް ހެތްކެއްވެއެވެ. އެއީ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ބަރާވެގެންވާ ނަވުގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ ދަރިފަސްކޮޅު އުފުއްލަވައިދެއްވިކަމެވެ.

and a sign for them is that we carried their forefathers in a laden ship.
އެއުރެންނަށް ހެތްކެއްވެއެވެ. އެއީ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ބަރާވެގެންވާ ނަވުގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ ދަރިފަސްކޮޅު އުފުއްލަވައިދެއްވިކަމެވެ.

and we carried him on a (ship) made of planks and nails,
އަދި ފިލާތަކަކާއި، މޮހޮރުތަކަކުން ހަދާފައިވާ ނަވެއްގައި، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނު އުފުއްލެވީމެވެ.

and we rescued him and the people aboard the ship, and made the ship a sign for the entire world.
ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނާއި (އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ) ނާކޮޅުގެ أهل ވެރިން ސަލާމަތްކުރެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި އެއީ عالم ތަކަށްވާ عبرة އެއްކަމުގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ލެއްވީމެވެ.

yet we delivered him, and those who were in the ship, and appointed it for a sign unto all beings.
ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނާއި (އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ) ނާކޮޅުގެ أهل ވެރިން ސަލާމަތްކުރެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި އެއީ عالم ތަކަށްވާ عبرة އެއްކަމުގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ލެއްވީމެވެ.

and sailed away in a laden ship, wherein people cast lots. because he lost, he was thrown into the water.
ފަހެ، އެކަލޭގެފާނު (ނަވުގެ މީހުންނާއެކު) قرعة ލެއްވިއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެކަލޭގެފާނުވީ (قرعة ން) ދެރަވިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ.

when he ran away (like a slave from captivity) to the ship (fully) laden,
އެކަލޭގެފާނު ފިއްލަވައިގެން ވަޑައިގެން، ބަރާވެގެންވާ ނަވަށް އަރާވަޑައިގެންނެވިހިނދު ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!

o descendants of those we carried [in the ship] with noah. indeed, he was a grateful servant.
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ نوح ގެފާނާ އެކުގައި އުފުއްލެވި ދަރިފަސްކޮޅުގެ މީހުންނޭވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، شكر ވެރިވާ އަޅަކު ކަމުގައި އެކަލޭގެފާނުވިއެވެ.

"o offspring of those whom we carried (in the ship) with nuh (noah)! verily, he was a grateful slave."
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ نوح ގެފާނާ އެކުގައި އުފުއްލެވި ދަރިފަސްކޮޅުގެ މީހުންނޭވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، شكر ވެރިވާ އަޅަކު ކަމުގައި އެކަލޭގެފާނުވިއެވެ.
