އެއުރެން އެކަލޭގެފާނު ހަލާކުކޮށްލުމަށް މަކަރުވެރި ރޭވުމެއް ރޭވޫއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެންމެ ބޮޑަށް ގެއްލެނިވެގެންވާ ބަޔަކުކަމުގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެން ލެއްވީމެވެ.

had we wished, we would have sent a warner to every town.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރެއްވިނަމަ، ކޮންމެ ރަށަކަށް إنذار ކުރައްވާ ބޭކަލަކު ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ފޮނުއްވީމުހެވެ.

if we had so wished, we might have sent a warner into every town,
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރެއްވިނަމަ، ކޮންމެ ރަށަކަށް إنذار ކުރައްވާ ބޭކަލަކު ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ފޮނުއްވީމުހެވެ.

and they wished to cause him harm, so we made them the greatest of losers.
އެއުރެން އެކަލޭގެފާނު ހަލާކުކޮށްލުމަށް މަކަރުވެރި ރޭވުމެއް ރޭވޫއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެންމެ ބޮޑަށް ގެއްލެނިވެގެންވާ ބަޔަކުކަމުގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެން ލެއްވީމެވެ.

and they wished to set a snare for him, but we made them the greater losers.
އެއުރެން އެކަލޭގެފާނު ހަލާކުކޮށްލުމަށް މަކަރުވެރި ރޭވުމެއް ރޭވޫއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެންމެ ބޮޑަށް ގެއްލެނިވެގެންވާ ބަޔަކުކަމުގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެން ލެއްވީމެވެ.

but you will not wish unless it is wished by allah, the lord of all the worlds.
عالم ތަކުގެ ވެރި اللَّه އިރާދަކުރެއްވުމުން މެނުވީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކަށް (އެއްވެސް ކަމެއް) ނޭދެވޭނެތެވެ.

had we wished to take to us an amusement we would have taken it to us from ours had we done so.
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކުޅިވަރެއްގެ ބޭނުންކުރެއްވުމަށް އިރާދަކުރެއްވިނަމަ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން އެކަން އެގޮތަށް ހިއްޕެވީމުހެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ (އެކަންތައް) ކުރައްވާނެ ނަމައެވެ.

and he wished to scare them from the land, but we drowned him and those with him, all together.
ފަހެ، އޭނާ قصد ކުރީ އެއުރެން (مصر ގެ) ބިމުން ބޭރުކޮށްލުމަށެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އޭނާއާއި، އޭނާއާއެކުގައިވާ އެންމެން غرق ކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

if we had wished to find a pastime, we could have found it in our presence - if we ever did.
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކުޅިވަރެއްގެ ބޭނުންކުރެއްވުމަށް އިރާދަކުރެއްވިނަމަ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން އެކަން އެގޮތަށް ހިއްޕެވީމުހެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ (އެކަންތައް) ކުރައްވާނެ ނަމައެވެ.

had we wished we would have set angels in your stead to be [your] successors on the earth.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާނަމަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ބަދަލުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ފަހަށް، ބިމުގައި ملائكة ން ލައްވައިފީމުހެވެ.

had we wished to find a pastime, we would surely have found it in that which is with us, if such had been our will.
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކުޅިވަރެއްގެ ބޭނުންކުރެއްވުމަށް އިރާދަކުރެއްވިނަމަ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން އެކަން އެގޮތަށް ހިއްޕެވީމުހެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ (އެކަންތައް) ކުރައްވާނެ ނަމައެވެ.

and had we wished we would have deformed them in their place; then they would neither have been able to move ahead nor to return.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާނަމަ، އެއުރެން ތިބިތާ ތިއްބައި އެއުރެންގެ ސިފަ ބަދަލުކުރައްވައިފީމުހެވެ. ފަހެ (އެހިނދު) ކުރިޔަށް ދިޔުމަކަށްވެސް އަދި ފަހަށް އެނބުރި އައުމަކަށްވެސް، އެއުރެންނަކަށް ކުޅަދާނަވެގެނެއް ނުވެތެވެ.

had we wished we would have blotted out their eyes: then, were they to advance towards the path, how would have they seen?
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާނަމަ، އެއުރެންގެ ލޯތައް ކަނުކުރައްވައިފީމުހެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން މަގުން ދިއުމަށް އަވަސްވެގަންނާނެތެވެ. ފަހެ (އެހިނދު) އެއުރެންނަށް ފެންނާނީ ކޮންފަދައަކުން ހެއްޔެވެ؟

if we so wished, we could have reduced your harvest to rubble, and you would have been left wonder-struck to exclaim:
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާނަމަ، ހިކި ކުނޑި ހުއިތަކެއް ކަމުގައި އެތަކެތި ލައްވައިފީމުސްކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. ދެން އެކަމާމެދު ތިޔަބައިމީހުން حيران ވެފައި ތިބެއްޖައީހެވެ.

and thus we established joseph in the land, to live therein wherever he wished. we touch with our mercy whomever we will, and we never waste the reward of the righteous.
އެފަދައިން އެކަލޭގެފާނު ބޭނުންފުޅު ތަނެއްގައި ހުންނެވޭނެގޮތުން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނު (مصر ގެ) ބިމުގައި ބާރުވެރި ކުރެއްވީމެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ ބަޔަކަށް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ رحمة ލައްވަމެވެ. އަދި إحسان ތެރިންގެ ދަރުމަ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ގެއްލެނި ނުކުރައްވާހުށީމެވެ.

had allah wished they would not have ascribed partners [to him]. we have not made you a caretaker for them, nor is it your duty to watch over them.
އަދި اللَّه އިރާދަކުރެއްވިނަމަ، އެއުރެން شريك އެއް ނުކުޅައީހެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް ފާރަވެރިޔަކު ކަމުގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކަލޭގެފާނު ނުލައްވަމެވެ. އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނަކީ، އެއުރެންގެ ކަންތައްތައް حوال ކުރައްވާފައިވާ ވަކީލަކު ކަމުގައިވެސް ނުވެއެވެ.

and they indeed wished to scare thee from the land that they might drive thee forth from thence, and then they would have stayed (there) but a little after thee.
އަދި އެއުރެން ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭގެފާނަށް (عداوة ތެރިވެ) އުނދަގޫކޮށް، ކަލޭގެފާނު (مكة ގެ) ބިމުން ބޭރުކޮށްލުމަށް ގާތްކުޅައޫއެވެ. (އެހެންވެއްޖެނަމަ) އޭރުން، ކުޑަވަގުތުކޮޅަކަށް މެނުވީ، ކަލޭގެފާނަށްފަހު އެއުރެންނަކަށް (އެތާކު) ނުތިބެވޭނެތެވެ.
