تو ہم اپنا کام پکا کرنے والے ہیں کیا اس گھمنڈ میں ہیں کہ ہم ان کی آہستہ بات اور ان کی مشورت نہیں سنتے، ہاں کیوں نہیں اور ہمارے فرشتے ان کے پاس لکھ رہے ہیں،

said one of them, more just (than the rest): "did i not say to you, 'why not glorify (allah)?'"
ان سب میں جو بہتر تھا اس نے کہا کہ میں تم سے نہ کہتا تھا کہ تم اللہ کی پاکیزگی کیوں نہیں بیان کرتے؟

(saleh) said: "o people, why do you wish to hasten evil rather than good? why not ask for god's forgiveness? you may well be forgiven."
