when your lord called out to moses, saying, "go to the wrongdoing people,
(xusuuso) markuu ugu yeedhay eebahaa (nabi) muuse inuu aado qoomka daalimiinta ah.

they did not forbid one another from the wrongdoing they were committing. evil is what they were doing.
waxayna ahaayeen kuwaan iska reebayn xumaan ay falayaan, waxaa xun waxay falayeen.

so the cry seized them justly and we turned them into a scum. so away with the wrongdoing lot!

and who is more unjust than one who invents about allah untruth while he is being invited to islam. and allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
yaa ka dulmi badan ruux ku been abuurtay ilaahay isagoo loogu yeedhi islaamka, eebe ma hanuuniyo dadka daalimiinta ah.

so he left the city, fearful and vigilant. he said, ‘my lord! deliver me from the wrongdoing lot.’
wuuna ka baxay (magaaladii) isagoo cabsan oo filan (waxyeello) wuxuuna yidhi eebow iga kori qoomka daalimiinta ah.

and who is a greater wrongdoer than he who attributes falsehoods to god, when he is being invited to islam? god does not guide the wrongdoing people.
yaa ka dulmi badan ruux ku been abuurtay ilaahay isagoo loogu yeedhi islaamka, eebe ma hanuuniyo dadka daalimiinta ah.

and [mention] when your lord called moses, [saying], "go to the wrongdoing people -
(xusuuso) markuu ugu yeedhay eebahaa (nabi) muuse inuu aado qoomka daalimiinta ah.

and when their eyes are turned toward the companions of the fire, they say, "our lord, do not place us with the wrongdoing people."
markii loo jeediyo wajigooda xagga ehelu naarka waxay dhahaaan eebow ha na yeelin la jirka daalimiinta.

all faces shall be humbled before the living one, the all-sustainer, and those who bear [the burden of] wrongdoing will fail.
waxay u khuduucday wajiyadu eebaha nool ee wax maamula, waxaana khasaaray ruuxii xambaara dulmi.

and if they answer thee not, then know that what they follow is their lusts. and who goeth farther astray than he who followeth his lust without guidance from allah. lo! allah guideth not wrongdoing folk.
haddayna ku ajiibin (maqlin) ogow inay uun raacayaan hawadooda, wax ka dhumid badanna ma jirto cid raacday hawadeeda hanuun eebe la'aantiis, eebana ma hanuuniyo qoom daalimiin ah.

(their lord) said: for this the land will surely be forbidden them for forty years that they will wander in the earth, bewildered. so grieve not over the wrongdoing folk.
(eebe) wuxuu yidhi iyadu «dhulka» waa ka xaaraan korkooda afartan sano oy ku wareeri dhulka ee haw murugoon qoomka faasiqiinta ah.
