ܠܐ ܓܝܪ ܐܫܬܐܠܬ ܕܐܘܕܥܟܘܢ ܟܠܗ ܨܒܝܢܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ

and we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,

now in this that i declare unto you i praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.

and i have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and i in them.
ܘܐܘܕܥܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܫܡܟ ܘܡܘܕܥ ܐܢܐ ܕܚܘܒܐ ܗܘ ܕܐܚܒܬܢܝ ܢܗܘܐ ܒܗܘܢ ܘܐܢܐ ܐܗܘܐ ܒܗܘܢ

moreover, brethren, i declare unto you the gospel which i preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
ܡܘܕܥ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܐܚܝ ܐܘܢܓܠܝܘܢ ܕܤܒܪܬܟܘܢ ܘܩܒܠܬܘܢܝܗܝ ܘܩܡܬܘܢ ܒܗ

whom god hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of god;
ܗܢܐ ܕܩܕܡ ܤܡܗ ܐܠܗܐ ܚܘܤܝܐ ܒܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܕܕܡܗ ܡܛܠ ܚܛܗܝܢ ܕܡܢ ܩܕܝܡ ܚܛܝܢ

that which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the father, and with his son jesus christ.

for as i passed by, and beheld your devotions, i found an altar with this inscription, to the unknown god. whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare i unto you.

behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for i work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.
ܕܚܙܘ ܡܒܤܪܢܐ ܘܬܬܡܗܘܢ ܘܬܬܚܒܠܘܢ ܕܥܒܕܐ ܥܒܕ ܐܢܐ ܒܝܘܡܝܟܘܢ ܐܝܢܐ ܕܠܐ ܬܗܝܡܢܘܢ ܐܢ ܐܢܫ ܡܫܬܥܐ ܠܟܘܢ

every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
