ܘܝܗܒܬ ܠܗ ܙܒܢܐ ܠܬܝܒܘܬܐ ܘܠܐ ܨܒܝܐ ܠܡܬܒ ܡܢ ܙܢܝܘܬܗ

for this is the will of god, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
ܗܢܘ ܓܝܪ ܨܒܝܢܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܩܕܝܫܘܬܟܘܢ ܘܕܬܗܘܘܢ ܦܪܝܩܝܢ ܡܢ ܟܠ ܙܢܝܘܬܐ

neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
ܘܐܦܠܐ ܢܙܢܐ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܡܢܗܘܢ ܙܢܝܘ ܘܢܦܠܘ ܒܚܕ ܝܘܡܐ ܥܤܪܝܢ ܘܬܠܬܐ ܐܠܦܝܢ

nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

but fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
ܙܢܝܘܬܐ ܕܝܢ ܘܟܠܗ ܛܢܦܘܬܐ ܘܥܠܘܒܘܬܐ ܐܦܠܐ ܡܫܬܡܗܘ ܬܫܬܡܗ ܒܝܢܬܟܘܢ ܐܝܟ ܕܝܐܐ ܠܩܕܝܫܐ

now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
ܝܕܝܥܝܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܓܝܪ ܥܒܕܘܗܝ ܕܒܤܪܐ ܕܐܝܬܝܗܘܢ ܙܢܝܘܬܐ ܛܢܦܘܬܐ ܨܚܢܘܬܐ

but that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
ܐܠܐ ܢܫܬܠܚ ܠܗܘܢ ܕܢܗܘܘܢ ܦܪܝܩܝܢ ܡܢ ܛܡܐܘܬܐ ܕܕܒܝܚܐ ܘܡܢ ܙܢܝܘܬܐ ܘܡܢ ܕܚܢܝܩܐ ܘܡܢ ܕܡܐ

and lest, when i come again, my god will humble me among you, and that i shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.

and i say unto you, whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܕܡܢ ܕܫܒܩ ܐܢܬܬܗ ܕܠܐ ܓܘܪܐ ܘܢܤܒ ܐܚܪܬܐ ܓܐܪ ܘܡܢ ܕܢܤܒ ܫܒܝܩܬܐ ܓܐܪ

being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
ܟܕ ܡܠܝܢ ܟܠ ܥܘܠܘܬܐ ܘܙܢܝܘܬܐ ܘܡܪܝܪܘܬܐ ܘܒܝܫܘܬܐ ܘܥܠܘܒܘܬܐ ܘܚܤܡܐ ܘܩܛܠܐ ܘܚܪܝܢܐ ܘܢܟܠܐ ܘܡܚܫܒܬܐ ܒܝܫܬܐ
