ܟܕ ܦܠܚ ܐܢܐ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܒܡܟܝܟܘܬܐ ܤܓܝܐܬܐ ܘܒܕܡܥܐ ܘܒܢܤܝܘܢܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܥܕܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܥܠܝ ܒܢܟܠܝܗܘܢ ܕܝܗܘܕܝܐ

let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
ܘܠܡܐ ܐܢܫ ܢܨܒܐ ܒܡܟܝܟܘܬ ܪܥܝܢܐ ܠܡܚܝܒܘܬܟܘܢ ܕܬܫܬܥܒܕܘܢ ܠܦܘܠܚܢܐ ܕܡܠܐܟܐ ܒܕܤܥܐ ܥܠ ܡܕܡ ܕܠܐ ܚܙܐ ܘܤܪܝܩܐܝܬ ܡܬܚܬܪ ܒܪܥܝܢܐ ܕܒܤܪܗ

which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
ܘܡܬܚܙܝܢ ܕܐܝܬ ܒܗܝܢ ܡܠܬܐ ܕܚܟܡܬܐ ܒܦܪܨܘܦ ܡܟܝܟܘܬܐ ܘܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܕܠܐ ܚܝܤܝܢ ܥܠ ܦܓܪܐ ܠܘ ܒܡܕܡ ܕܡܝܩܪ ܐܠܐ ܒܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܚܫܚܬܐ ܐܢܝܢ ܕܒܤܪܐ

likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for god resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
