ܘܡܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܛܠܝܢ ܗܟܢܐ ܒܥܝ ܕܢܗܘܘܢ ܢܟܦܝܢ

and he said likewise to him, be thou also over five cities.
ܐܡܪ ܐܦ ܠܗܢܐ ܐܦ ܐܢܬ ܬܗܘܐ ܫܠܝܛ ܥܠ ܚܡܫܐ ܟܪܟܝܢ

likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.
ܗܟܘܬ ܐܦ ܗܘ ܕܬܪܝܢ ܘܐܦ ܗܘ ܕܬܠܬܐ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܫܒܥܬܝܗܘܢ

and likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
ܘܗܟܘܬ ܐܦ ܗܘ ܕܬܪܬܝܢ ܐܬܬܓܪ ܬܪܬܝܢ ܐܚܪܢܝܢ

again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
ܗܢܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܐܙܠܘ ܘܢܦܩ ܬܘܒ ܒܫܬ ܘܒܬܫܥ ܫܥܝܢ ܘܥܒܕ ܗܟܘܬ

and as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
ܘܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܨܒܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܕܢܥܒܕܘܢ ܠܟܘܢ ܒܢܝ ܐܢܫܐ ܗܟܘܬ ܥܒܕܘ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܦ ܐܢܬܘܢ

jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.
ܩܪܒ ܕܝܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܘܫܩܠ ܠܚܡܐ ܘܢܘܢܐ ܘܝܗܒ ܠܗܘܢ

again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.
ܘܬܘܒ ܫܕܪ ܐܚܪܢܐ ܥܒܕܐ ܕܤܓܝܐܝܢ ܡܢ ܩܕܡܝܐ ܘܗܟܘܬ ܥܒܕܘ ܠܗܘܢ

and the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise.
ܘܕܬܪܝܢ ܢܤܒܗ ܘܡܝܬ ܟܕ ܐܦ ܠܐ ܗܘ ܫܒܩ ܙܪܥܐ ܘܕܬܠܬܐ ܗܟܘܬ

likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.
ܗܟܢܐ ܐܦ ܥܒܕܐ ܛܒܐ ܝܕܝܥܝܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܐܚܪܢܝܐܝܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܠܡܛܫܐ ܠܐ ܡܫܟܚܝܢ

and he said, he that shewed mercy on him. then said jesus unto him, go, and do thou likewise.
ܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܐܡܪ ܗܘ ܕܐܬܪܚܡ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܝܫܘܥ ܙܠ ܐܦ ܐܢܬ ܗܟܢܐ ܗܘܝܬ ܥܒܕ

peter said unto him, though i should die with thee, yet will i not deny thee. likewise also said all the disciples.
ܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܟܐܦܐ ܐܢ ܢܗܘܐ ܠܝ ܠܡܡܬ ܥܡܟ ܠܐ ܐܟܦܘܪ ܒܟ ܘܗܟܘܬ ܐܦ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܬܠܡܝܕܐ ܐܡܪܘ

and he came to the second, and said likewise. and he answered and said, i go, sir: and went not.
ܘܩܪܒ ܠܘܬ ܐܚܪܢܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܗܟܘܬ ܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܥܢܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝ ܘܠܐ ܐܙܠ

likewise also was not rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
ܗܟܢܐ ܐܦ ܪܚܒ ܙܢܝܬܐ ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܡܢ ܥܒܕܐ ܐܙܕܕܩܬ ܕܩܒܠܬ ܠܓܫܘܫܐ ܘܒܐܘܪܚܐ ܐܚܪܬܐ ܐܦܩܬ ܐܢܘܢ

the wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.
ܐܢܬܬܐ ܠܐ ܫܠܝܛܐ ܥܠ ܦܓܪܗ ܐܠܐ ܒܥܠܗ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܦ ܓܒܪܐ ܠܐ ܫܠܝܛ ܥܠ ܦܓܪܗ ܐܠܐ ܐܢܬܬܗ

and these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
ܘܗܢܘܢ ܕܥܠ ܫܘܥܐ ܐܙܕܪܥܘ ܗܠܝܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܡܐ ܕܫܡܥܘ ܡܠܬܐ ܡܚܕܐ ܒܚܕܘܬܐ ܡܩܒܠܝܢ ܠܗ

but i say unto you, that elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. likewise shall also the son of man suffer of them.
ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܕܗܐ ܐܠܝܐ ܐܬܐ ܘܠܐ ܝܕܥܘܗܝ ܘܥܒܕܘ ܒܗ ܟܠ ܡܐ ܕܨܒܘ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܦ ܒܪܗ ܕܐܢܫܐ ܥܬܝܕ ܕܢܚܫ ܡܢܗܘܢ

and they said unto him, why do the disciples of john fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the pharisees; but thine eat and drink?
ܗܢܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܐܡܪܝܢ ܠܗ ܠܡܢܐ ܬܠܡܝܕܘܗܝ ܕܝܘܚܢܢ ܨܝܡܝܢ ܐܡܝܢܐܝܬ ܘܡܨܠܝܢ ܐܦ ܕܦܪܝܫܐ ܕܝܠܟ ܕܝܢ ܐܟܠܝܢ ܘܫܬܝܢ

but abraham said, son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
ܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܐܒܪܗܡ ܒܪܝ ܐܬܕܟܪ ܕܩܒܠܬ ܛܒܬܟ ܒܚܝܝܟ ܘܠܥܙܪ ܒܝܫܬܗ ܘܗܫܐ ܗܐ ܡܬܬܢܝܚ ܗܪܟܐ ܘܐܢܬ ܡܫܬܢܩ

and jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.
