and whosoever is blind in this world shall be blind in the world to come, and he shall be even further astray from the way.
Ва ҳар кӣ дар ин дунё нобино бошад, дар охират низ нобино ва гумроҳтар аст.

that allah may forgive thee of thy sin that which is past and that which is to come, and may perfect his favour unto thee, and may guide thee on a right path,
То Худо гуноҳи туро, он чӣ пеш аз ин буда ва он чӣ пас аз ин бошад, барои ту бибахшояд ва неъмати худро бар ту комил кунад ва туро ба роҳи рост роҳ намояд.

i do not think that the hour is going to come. and even if i return to my lord, he will surely reward me well."

and whosoever desires the world to come and strives after it as he should, being a believer -- those, their striving shall be thanked.
Ва ҳар кӣ хоҳони охират бошад ва дар талаби он саъй кунад ва мӯъмин бошад, ҷазои саъйаш дода хоҳад шуд.

and god gave them the reward of this world and the fairest reward of the world to come; and god loves the good-doers.
Худо подоши инҷаҳонӣ ва подоши неки онҷаҳониро ба онҳо арзонӣ дошт ва Худо накӯкоронро дуст дорад!

but there are others who pray, "our lord, grant us good in this world as well as good in the world to come, and protect us from the torment of the fire."
Ва баъзе аз мардум мегӯянд: «Эй Парвардигори мо, моро ҳам дар дунё хайре бахш ва ҳам дар охират ва моро аз азоби оташ нигаҳ дор».

can one who prays in the watches of the night, bowing in homage or standing attentive, fearful of the life to come, and hoping for the mercy of his lord, (be like one who does not)?

and when our sent angels came to lut, he was unhappy at their arrival and was depressed – and they said, “do not fear or grieve; we will surely rescue you and your family, except your wife, who is of those who will stay behind.”

believers, guard yourselves and your families against the fire the fuel of which is people and stones, over which there are harsh, and stern angels who never disobey allah in that which he orders and do what they are ordered.

believers, save yourselves and your families from the fire which is fueled by people and stones and is guarded by stern angels who do not disobey god's commands and do whatever they are ordered to do.
Эй касоне, ки имон овардаед, худ ва хонаводаи худро аз оташе, ки ҳезуми он мардум ва сангҳо ҳастанд, нигаҳ доред. Фариштагоне дуруштгуфтору сахтгир бар он оташ муваккаланд (вазифадор).

said the council of the unbelievers of his people, who cried lies to the encounter of the world to come, and to whom we had given ease in the present' life, 'this is naught but a mortal like yourselves, who eats of what you eat and drinks of what you drink.
