then happiness and delight and gardens of bliss are his.

“send him with us tomorrow so that he may eat some fruits and play, and indeed we are his protectors.”
"நாளைக்கு அவரை எங்களுடன் அனுப்பி வையுங்கள். (காட்டிலுள்ள கனிகளைப்) புசித்துக் கொண்டும் விளையாடிக் கொண்டும் இருப்பார்; நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் அவரைப் பாதுகாத்துக் கொள்வோம்" என்று கூறினார்கள்.

all those who are in the heavens and the earth are his, and they are all obedient to him.
வானங்களிலும் பூமியிலும் இருப்பவை எல்லாம் அவனுக்கே உரியவை - எல்லாம் அவனுக்கே கீழ்படிந்து நடக்கின்றன.

and this is a blessed remembrance that we have sent down; so are you now denying it?
இன்னும் இது (குர்ஆன்) நாம் அருள் செய்த பாக்கியம் மிக்க புனிதமான உபதேசமாகும். இதனையா நீங்கள் புறக்கணிக்கிறீர்கள்?

o you who believe, do not hold your fathers and brothers as friends if they hold disbelief more dear than faith; and those of you who do so are iniquitous.
ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! உங்கள் தந்தைமார்களும் உங்கள் சகோதரர்களும், ஈமானை விட்டு குஃப்ரை நேசிப்பார்களானால், அவர்களை நீங்கள் பாதுகாப்பளர்களாக எடுத்துக் கொள்ளாதீர்கள். உங்களில் யாரேனும் அவர்களை பாதுகாப்பாளர்களாக எடுத்துக் கொண்டால், அவர்கள் தான் அநியாயக்காரர்கள் ஆவார்கள்.

ours is the dye of allah! and who is better at dyeing than allah! and we are his worshippers.
"(இதுவே) அல்லாஹ்வின் வர்ணம்(ஞான ஸ்னானம்) ஆகும்;, வர்ணம் கொடுப்பதில் அல்லாஹ்வைவிட அழகானவன் யார்? அவனையே நாங்கள் வணங்குகிறோம்" (எனக் கூறுவீர்களாக).

not so are those who persevere and do righteous works. those! theirs shall be forgivness and a great hire.
ஆனால் (துன்பங்களைப்) பொறுமையுடன் சகித்து எவர் நற்கருமங்கள் செய்கின்றார்களோ, அவர்களுக்கு மன்னிப்பும், மகத்தான நற்கூலியும் உண்டு.

(we take our) colour from allah, and who is better than allah at colouring. we are his worshippers.
"(இதுவே) அல்லாஹ்வின் வர்ணம்(ஞான ஸ்னானம்) ஆகும்;, வர்ணம் கொடுப்பதில் அல்லாஹ்வைவிட அழகானவன் யார்? அவனையே நாங்கள் வணங்குகிறோம்" (எனக் கூறுவீர்களாக).

then they asked their father, "why do you not trust us with joseph? we are his well-wishers.
(பிறகு தம் தந்தையிடம் வந்து,) "எங்கள் தந்தையே! யூஸுஃபுடைய விஷயத்தில் நீங்கள் ஏன் எங்களை நம்புவதில்லை? மெய்யாகவே, நாங்கள் அவருக்கு நன்மையை நாடுபவர்களாகவே இருக்கின்றோம்.

(people), consume the pure and lawful sustenance which god has given to you and thank god for his bounty if you are his true worshippers.
(முஃமின்களே!) அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு அளித்துள்ளவற்றிலிருந்து ஹலாலான நல்லவற்றையே நீங்கள் புசியுங்கள்; நீங்கள் அவனையே வணங்குபவர்களாக இருப்பின் அல்லாஹ்வின் அருட்கொடைக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துங்கள்.

those who were charged with bearing the torah, but did not do so are like an ass carrying a load of books. how unfortunate are those who belie the sign of god. god does not guide the wrongdoers.
எவர்கள் தவ்றாத் (வேதம்) சுமத்தப்பெற்று பின்னர் அதன்படி நடக்கவில்லையோ, அவர்களுக்கு உதாரணமாவது ஏடுகளைச் சுமக்கும் கழுதையின் உதாரணத்திற்கு ஒப்பாகும், எச்சமூகத்தார் அல்லாஹ்வின் வசனங்களைப் பொய்ப்பிக்கிறார்களோ அவர்களின் உதாரணம் மிகக் கெட்டதாகும் - அல்லாஹ் அநியாயக்கார சமூகத்தாரை நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தமாட்டான்.

they said, 'father, what ails thee, that thou trustest us not with joseph? surely we are his sincere well-wishers.
(பிறகு தம் தந்தையிடம் வந்து,) "எங்கள் தந்தையே! யூஸுஃபுடைய விஷயத்தில் நீங்கள் ஏன் எங்களை நம்புவதில்லை? மெய்யாகவே, நாங்கள் அவருக்கு நன்மையை நாடுபவர்களாகவே இருக்கின்றோம்.

and do not weaken in pursuit of the enemy. if you should be suffering - so are they suffering as you are suffering, but you expect from allah that which they expect not. and allah is ever knowing and wise.
மேலும், (பகைக்) கூட்டத்தைத் தேடிச் செல்வதில் ஊக்கம் குன்றாதீர்கள்;. நீங்கள் (போரில்) துன்பப்படுவீர்களானால், நிச்சயமாக அவர்களும் உங்களைப் போன்றே துன்பப்படுகிறார்கள் - அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து அவர்கள் எதிர்பார்க்காத (நற்கூலியும் வெற்றியும்) நீங்கள் எதிர்பார்க்கிறீர்கள். அல்லாஹ் மிக அறிந்தவனாகவும், ஞானமுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.
