(நபியே!) இவர்கள் (இழிவாகப்) பேசுவது உம் நெஞ்சத்தை எப்படி நெருக்குகிறது என்பதை நாம் அறிவோம்.

and by that (power) which created the male and female,
ஆணையும், பெண்ணையும் (அவன்) படைத்திருப்பதின் மீதும் சத்தியமாக-

and assuredly we know that thou straitenest thy breast by that which they say.
(நபியே!) இவர்கள் (இழிவாகப்) பேசுவது உம் நெஞ்சத்தை எப்படி நெருக்குகிறது என்பதை நாம் அறிவோம்.

(நபியே!) உமக்கு முன்னர் வந்த தூதர்களும் நிச்சயமாக (இவ்வாறே) பரிகசிக்கப்பட்டனர்; முடிவில் அவர்கள் எதைப் பரிகசித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தனரோ அதுவே பரிகசித்தவர்களை வந்து சூழ்ந்துகொண்டது.

and the evil of what they did will appear to them, and they will be completely encircled by that which they used to mock at!
அவர்கள் செய்த தீமையெல்லாம் (அந்நாளில்) அவர்களுக்கு வெளியாகும்; எதை அவர்கள் பரிகாசம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தார்களோ, அதுவே அவர்களைச் சூழ்ந்து கொள்ளும்.

and the evils of that which they earned will become apparent to them, and they will be encircled by that which they used to mock at!
அன்றியும் அவர்கள் சம்பாதித்த தீமைகள் அவர்களுக்கு வெளியாகும், மேலும், எதைக் கொண்டு அவர்கள் பரிகாசம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தார்களோ அதுவும் அவர்களைச் சூழ்ந்து கொள்ளும்.

so, when their messengers brought them the clear signs, they rejoiced in what knowledge they had, and were encompassed by that they mocked at.
