so they ceased not to cry, until we made them stubble, silent and still.
அறுவடை செய்யப்பட்ட வயலின் அரிதாள்கள் எரிந்தழிவது போன்று அவர்களை நாம் ஆக்கும் வரை அவர்களுடைய இக்கூப்பாடு ஓயவில்லை.

man he created from a drop of semen; and still he becomes an open contender.
அவன் மனிதனை இந்திரியத்துளியினால் படைத்தான்; அப்படியிருந்தும் மனிதன் பகிரங்கமான எதிரியாக இருக்கின்றான்.

and this they did not stop crying out until we made them stubble, silent, and still.
அறுவடை செய்யப்பட்ட வயலின் அரிதாள்கள் எரிந்தழிவது போன்று அவர்களை நாம் ஆக்கும் வரை அவர்களுடைய இக்கூப்பாடு ஓயவில்லை.

but whoever has been blind in this life will be blind in the life to come, and still farther astray from the path [of truth].
யார் இம்மையில் (நேர்வழியடையாக்) குருடனாக இருக்கிறானோ அவன் மறுமையிலும் (நற்பேற்றைக் காணாக்) குருடன்தான்; இன்னும், அவன் நேர்வழியில் மிகவும் தவறியவனாவான்.

and still those who are unjust follow their own desires without having any knowledge. then who can guide those whom god has let go astray? there shall be none to help them.
எனினும் அநியாயக்காரர்கள் கல்வி ஞானமில்லாமல் தம் மனோ இச்சைகளையே பின்பற்றுகிறார்கள்; ஆகவே எவர்களை அல்லாஹ் வழிகெடச் செய்தானோ, அவர்களை நேர் வழியில் கொண்டு வருபவர் யார்? மேலும் அவர்களுக்கு உதவி செய்வோர் எவருமிலர்.

and allah created every creature from a sort of water: of them some one crawls upon its belly: another walks on two legs and still another on four; allah creates whatever he wills for he has power over everything
மேலும், எல்லா உயிர்ப் பிராணிகளையும் அல்லாஹ் நீரிலிருந்து படைத்துள்ளான்; அவற்றில் தன் வயிற்றின் மீது நடப்பவையும் உண்டு அவற்றில் இரு கால்களால் நடப்பவையும் உண்டு அவற்றில் நான்கு (கால்)களை கொண்டு நடப்பவையும் உண்டு தான் நாடியதை அல்லாஹ் படைக்கிறான்; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் எல்லாவற்றின் மீதும் பேராற்றலுடையவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

yet how will they appoint you a judge when they have the torah with them, wherein there is allah's judgement - and still they turn away from it? the fact is, they are not believers.
எனினும், இவர்கள் உம்மை தீர்ப்பு அளிப்பவராக எப்படி ஏற்றுக் கொள்வார்கள்? இவர்களிடத்திலோ தவ்ராத் (வேத) முள்ளது. அதில் அல்லாஹ்வின் கட்டளையும் உள்ளது. எனினும் அதைப் பின்னர் புறக்கணித்து விடுகிறார்கள்;. இவர்கள் முஃமின்களே அல்லர்.

and still the indignation of their hearts. for allah will turn (in mercy) to whom he will; and allah is all-knowing, all-wise.
அவர்களுடைய இதயங்களிலுள்ள கோபத்தையும் போக்கி விடுவான்; தான் நாடியவரின் தவ்பாவை (மன்னிப்புக் கோருதலை) ஏற்றுக் கொள்கிறான். அல்லாஹ் (எல்லாம்) அறிந்தவனாகவும், (பூரண) ஞானமுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

those before them had also denied, and they could not reach a tenth of (the possibilities) we had given them, and still they called my apostles liars. how great was the change that i wrought in their condition then!
மேலும் இவர்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்த (ஏனைய சமூகத்த)வர்களும் (இவ்வாறே) பொய்ப்பிக்க முற்பட்டனர், அன்றியும் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்ததில் பத்தில் ஒன்றைக் கூட இவர்கள் அடையவில்லை ஆகவே அவர்கள் என் தூதர்களைப் பொய்ப்பிக்க முற்பட்டார்கள்; அந்த நிராகரிப்பு (கடின வேதனையைக் கொண்டு வருவதாக) எவ்வாறு இருந்தது (என்பதை இவர்கள் நினைவு கூரட்டும்)
