"நிச்சயமாக இவை எனக்கு விரோதிகளே - அகிலங்களின் இறைவனைத் தவிர (அவனே காப்பவன்)."

how many a nation did we destroy before them that were stronger in prowess than these. they searched about the lands of the world. but could they find a refuge?
அன்றியும், (நிராகரிப்போரான) அவர்களைவிட பலசாளிகளாக இருந்த எத்தனையோ தலைமுறையினரை அவர்களுக்கு முன்னர் நாம் அழித்திருக்கின்றோம்; அவர்கள் (அழிவிலிருந்து தப்பித்துக் கொள்ள) பல ஊர்களிலிரும் (துளைத்துச்) சென்றனர்; ஆனால் அவர்கள் தப்பித்துக் கொள்ள புகலிடம் இருந்ததா?

ho! ye are they who pleaded for them in the life of the world. but who will plead with allah for them on the day of resurrection, or who will then be their defender?
(முஃமின்களே!) என்னே! இத்தகைய மனிதர்களுக்காகவா இவ்வுலகில் நீங்கள் வாதாடுகிறீர்கள் - நியாயத் தீர்ப்பு நாளில் அவர்களுக்காக அல்லாஹ்விடம் யார் வாதாடுவார்கள்? அல்லது (அந்நாளில்) அவர்களுக்காக பொறுப்பாளியாக ஆகுபவன் யார்?

surely they are enemies to me, but not (so) the lord of the worlds;
"நிச்சயமாக இவை எனக்கு விரோதிகளே - அகிலங்களின் இறைவனைத் தவிர (அவனே காப்பவன்)."

if they try to force you to associate with me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them. live with them honourably in the world, but follow the way of him who turns to me. your returning is to me in the end, when i will tell you what you did.
ஆனால், நீ எது பற்றி அறிவு (ஆதாரம்) பெற்றவனாக இல்லையோ அதனை எனக்கு இணை வைக்குமாறு உன்னை அவ்விருவரும் வற்புறுத்தினால் அப்போது நீ அவ்விருவருக்கும் வழிபட வேணடாம்; ஆனால் இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையில் அவ்விருவருடனும் அழகிய முறையில் உறவு வைத்துக் கொள்; (யாவற்றிலும்) என்னையே நோக்கி நிற்போரின் வழியையே நீ பின்பற்றுவாயாக - பின்னர் உங்கள் (அனைவருடைய) மீளுதலும் என்னிடமேயாகும்; நீங்கள் என்ன செய்து கொண்டிருந்தீர்கள் என்பதை (அப்போது) நான் உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பேன்."

and on the day when he will gather them, [it will be] as if they had not remained [in the world] but an hour of the day, they will know each other. those will have lost who denied the meeting with allah and were not guided
அவன் அவர்களை ஒன்று சேர்க்கும் நாளில், தாங்கள் (ஒரு) பகலில் சொற்ப காலமே இவ்வுலகில் தங்கியிருந்ததாக (அவர்கள் எண்ணுவார்கள்; அப்போது) தம்மில் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் அறிந்து கொள்வார்கள். அல்லாஹ்வின் சந்திப்பைப் பொய்ப்படுத்தியவர்கள் நிச்சயமாக நஷ்டம் அடைந்து விட்டார்கள்; மேலும் அவர்கள் நேர்வழி பெற்றிருக்கவில்லை.

and he said: ye have taken images instead of allah out of affection between you in the life of the world; but on the day of resurrection ye shall deny each other and ye shall curse each other, and your resort shall be the fire, and ye shall have no helpers.
மேலும் (இப்றாஹீம்) சொன்னார்; "உலக வாழ்ககையில் அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி (சிலரை) வணக்கத்திற்குரியவர்களாக நீங்கள் ஆக்கிக் கொண்டது (அவர்கள் மீது) உங்களிடையேயுள்ள நேசத்தின் காரணத்தினால்தான்; பின்னர் கியாம நாளன்று உங்களில் சிலர் சிலரை நிராகரிப்பார்கள்; உங்களில் சிலர் சிலரை சபித்துக் கொள்வர்; (இறுதியில்), நீங்கள் ஒதுங்குந்தலம் (நரக) நெருப்புத்தான்; (அங்கு) உங்களுக்கு உதவியாளர் எவருமில்லை.'
