and lut! what time he said unto his people: commit ye indecency while ye see?
லூத்தையும் (நினைவு கூர்வீராக!) அவர் தம் சமூகத்தாரிடம்; "நீங்கள் பார்த்துக் கொண்டே மானக்கேடான செயலைச் செய்கின்றீர்களா?" என்று கூறினார்.

he only commands you to evil and indecency, and that you should speak against god such things as you know not.
நிச்சயமாக அவன் தீயவற்றையும், மானக்கேடானவற்றையும் செய்யும்படியும் அல்லாஹ்வைப் பற்றி நீங்கள் அறியாததைக் கூறும்படியும் உங்களை ஏவுகிறான்.

and lot, when he said to his people, 'what, do you commit indecency with your eyes open?
லூத்தையும் (நினைவு கூர்வீராக!) அவர் தம் சமூகத்தாரிடம்; "நீங்கள் பார்த்துக் கொண்டே மானக்கேடான செயலைச் செய்கின்றீர்களா?" என்று கூறினார்.

and those who do not give false testimony, and when they pass near some indecency, they pass by it saving their honour.
அன்றியும், அவர்கள் பொய் சாட்சி சொல்லமாட்டார்கள்; மேலும், அவர்கள் வீணான காரிய(ம் நடக்கும் இட)த்தின் பக்கம் செல்வார்களாயின் கண்ணியமானவராக (ஒதுங்கிச்) சென்றுவிடுவார்கள்.

wives of the prophet, if any of you commit flagrant indecency, her chastisement shall be doubled. that is easy for allah.

and lot who said to his nation: 'you commit indecency which no other being in all the world has committed before you.
மேலும், லூத்தை (அவர் சமூகத்தாரிடையே நபியாக அனுப்பி வைத்தோம்); அவர் தம் சமூகத்தாரிடம் கூறினார்; "நிச்சயமாக நீங்கள் உலகத்தாரில் எவருமே உங்களுக்கு முன் செய்திராத மானக்கேடான ஒரு செயலை செய்ய முனைந்து விட்டீர்கள்.

and (we sent) lut, when he said to his people: what! do you commit indecency while you see?
லூத்தையும் (நினைவு கூர்வீராக!) அவர் தம் சமூகத்தாரிடம்; "நீங்கள் பார்த்துக் கொண்டே மானக்கேடான செயலைச் செய்கின்றீர்களா?" என்று கூறினார்.

and wed not of women those whom your fathers had wedded, except that which hath already passed. verily it hath been an indecency and an abomination and an evil way:
முன்னால் நடந்து போனதைத் தவிர, (இனிமேல்) நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய தந்தையர் மணமுடித்துக் கொண்ட பெண்களிலிருந்து எவரையும் விவாகம் செய்து கொள்ளாதீர்கள் - நிச்சயமாக இது மானக்கேடானதும், வெறுக்கக்கூடியதும், தீமையான வழியுமாகும்.

and lot, when he said to his people, 'what, do you commit such indecency as never any being in all the world committed before you?
மேலும் லூத்தை (அவர் சமூகத்தாரிடையே நபியாக அனுப்பினோம்;) அவர் தம் சமூகத்தாரிடம் கூறினார்; உலகத்தில் எவருமே உங்களுக்கு முன் செய்திராத மானக்கேடான ஒரு செயலைச் செய்யவோ முனைந்தீர்கள்?"

[we also sent] lot, when he said to his people, ‘what! do you commit this indecency while you look on?
லூத்தையும் (நினைவு கூர்வீராக!) அவர் தம் சமூகத்தாரிடம்; "நீங்கள் பார்த்துக் கொண்டே மானக்கேடான செயலைச் செய்கின்றீர்களா?" என்று கூறினார்.

allah orders justice, and good deeds, and giving to one's kindred. he forbids indecency, dishonor and insolence. he admonishes you in order that you take heed.
நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நீதி செலுத்துமாறும், நன்மை செய்யுமாறும், உறவினர்களுக்கு கொடுப்பதையும் கொண்டு (உங்களை) ஏவுகிறான்; அன்றியும், மானக்கேடான காரியங்கள், பாவங்கள், அக்கிரமங்கள் செய்தல் ஆகியவற்றை விட்டும் (உங்களை) விலக்குகின்றான் - நீங்கள நினைவு கூர்ந்து சிந்திப்பதற்காக, அவன் உங்களுக்கு நல்லுபதேசம் செய்கிறான்.

and (we sent) lut when he said to his people: what! do you commit an indecency which any one in the world has not done before you?
மேலும் லூத்தை (அவர் சமூகத்தாரிடையே நபியாக அனுப்பினோம்;) அவர் தம் சமூகத்தாரிடம் கூறினார்; உலகத்தில் எவருமே உங்களுக்கு முன் செய்திராத மானக்கேடான ஒரு செயலைச் செய்யவோ முனைந்தீர்கள்?"

(muhammad), recite to them what has been revealed to you in the book and be steadfast in prayer; prayer keeps one away from indecency and evil. it is the greatest act of worshipping god. god knows what you do.
(நபியே!) இவ்வேதத்திலிருந்து உமக்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டதை நீர் எடுத்தோதுவீராக இன்னும் தொழுகையை நிலை நிறுத்துவீராக நிச்சயமாக தொழுகை (மனிதரை) மானக்கேடானவற்றையும் தீமையையும் விட்டு விலக்கும். நிச்சயமாக, அல்லாஹ்வின் திக்ரு (தியானம்) மிகவும் பெரிதா(ன சக்தியா)கும்; அன்றியும் அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றை நன்கறிகிறான்.
