allah abolisheth whatsoever he will and keepeth; and with him is the mother of the book.
(எனினும்,) தான் நாடியதை (அதிலிருந்து) அல்லாஹ் அழித்து விடுவான். (தான் நாடியதை அதில்) நிலைத்திருக்கவும் செய்வான் - அவனிடத்திலேயே உம்முல் கிதாப் (மூலப் பதிவேடும்) இருக்கறது.

allah effaces and confirms whatever he wishes and with him is the mother book.
(எனினும்,) தான் நாடியதை (அதிலிருந்து) அல்லாஹ் அழித்து விடுவான். (தான் நாடியதை அதில்) நிலைத்திருக்கவும் செய்வான் - அவனிடத்திலேயே உம்முல் கிதாப் (மூலப் பதிவேடும்) இருக்கறது.

and verily, it is in the mother of the book, in our presence, high (in dignity), full of wisdom.
இன்னும் நிச்சயமாக, இது நம்மிடத்திலுள்ள உம்முல் கிதாபில் (தாய் நூலில்) இருக்கிறது. (இதுவே வேதங்களில்) மிக்க மேலானதும், ஞானம் மிக்கதுமாகும்.

the mother of moses was perturbed in the morning. had we not strengthened her heart to remain a believer she had almost given him away.

and the heart of the mother of moses became void, and she would have betrayed him if we had not fortified her heart, that she might be of the believers.
மூஸாவின் தாயுடைய இருதயம் (துக்கத்தால்) வெறுமையாகி விட்டது முஃமின்களில் நின்றுமுள்ளவளாய் இருப்பதற்காக நாம் அவள் உள்ளத்தை உறுதிப்படுத்தாது இருந்திருந்தால், அவள் (மூஸா ஆற்றில் விடப்பட்டதை) வெளிப்படுத்த முடுகியிருப்பாள்.

and the heart of the mother of musa became void, and she had wellnigh disclosed him, had we not fortified her heart, that she might remain one of the believers.
மூஸாவின் தாயுடைய இருதயம் (துக்கத்தால்) வெறுமையாகி விட்டது முஃமின்களில் நின்றுமுள்ளவளாய் இருப்பதற்காக நாம் அவள் உள்ளத்தை உறுதிப்படுத்தாது இருந்திருந்தால், அவள் (மூஸா ஆற்றில் விடப்பட்டதை) வெளிப்படுத்த முடுகியிருப்பாள்.

(எனினும்,) தான் நாடியதை (அதிலிருந்து) அல்லாஹ் அழித்து விடுவான். (தான் நாடியதை அதில்) நிலைத்திருக்கவும் செய்வான் - அவனிடத்திலேயே உம்முல் கிதாப் (மூலப் பதிவேடும்) இருக்கறது.

and this is a book which we have sent down, blessed and confirming what was before it, that you may warn the mother of cities and those around it. those who believe in the hereafter believe in it, and they are maintaining their prayers.
இந்த வேதத்தை - அபிவிருத்தி நிறைந்ததாகவும், இதற்குமுன் வந்த (வேதங்களை) மெய்ப்படுத்துவதாகவும் நாம் இறக்கி வைத்துள்ளோம்; (இதைக்கொண்டு) நீர் (நகரங்களின் தாயாகிய) மக்காவில் உள்ளவர்களையும், அதனைச் சுற்றியுள்ளவர்களையும் எச்சரிக்கை செய்வதற்காகவும், (நாம் இதனை அருளினோம்.) எவர்கள் மறுமையை நம்புகிறார்களோ அவர்கள் இதை நம்புவார்கள். இன்னும் அவர்கள் தொழுகையைப் பேணுவார்கள்.

and this is a book we have sent down, blest, and confirming that which hath been before it. and it is sent that thou mayest warn thereby the mother of towns and those around it. and those who believe in the hereafter believe in it, and they guard their prayer.
இந்த வேதத்தை - அபிவிருத்தி நிறைந்ததாகவும், இதற்குமுன் வந்த (வேதங்களை) மெய்ப்படுத்துவதாகவும் நாம் இறக்கி வைத்துள்ளோம்; (இதைக்கொண்டு) நீர் (நகரங்களின் தாயாகிய) மக்காவில் உள்ளவர்களையும், அதனைச் சுற்றியுள்ளவர்களையும் எச்சரிக்கை செய்வதற்காகவும், (நாம் இதனை அருளினோம்.) எவர்கள் மறுமையை நம்புகிறார்களோ அவர்கள் இதை நம்புவார்கள். இன்னும் அவர்கள் தொழுகையைப் பேணுவார்கள்.

and so we have revealed to thee an arabic koran, that thou mayest warn the mother of cities and those who dwell about it, and that thou mayest warn of the day of gathering, wherein is no doubt -- a party in paradise, and a party in the blaze.
அவ்வாறே நகரங்களின் தாய்க்கும், (மக்காவுக்கும் அதனைச் சுற்றியுள்ளவற்றுக்கும் அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிப்பதற்காகவும், எவ்வித சந்தேகமுமின்றி (யாவரும்) ஒன்று சேர்க்கப்படும் நாளைப்பற்றி அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிப்பதற்காகவும், அரபி பொழியிலான இந்த குர்ஆனை நாம் உமக்கு வஹீஅறிவிக்கிறோம்; ஒரு கூட்டம் சுவர்க்கத்திலும் ஒரு கூட்டம் நரகிலும் இருக்கும்.

and thus we have revealed unto thee a qur'an in arabic, that thou mayest warn the mother of towns and those around it, and that thou mayest warn them of a day of assembling whereof there is no doubt. a party will be in the garden, and a party in the blaze.
அவ்வாறே நகரங்களின் தாய்க்கும், (மக்காவுக்கும் அதனைச் சுற்றியுள்ளவற்றுக்கும் அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிப்பதற்காகவும், எவ்வித சந்தேகமுமின்றி (யாவரும்) ஒன்று சேர்க்கப்படும் நாளைப்பற்றி அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிப்பதற்காகவும், அரபி பொழியிலான இந்த குர்ஆனை நாம் உமக்கு வஹீஅறிவிக்கிறோம்; ஒரு கூட்டம் சுவர்க்கத்திலும் ஒரு கூட்டம் நரகிலும் இருக்கும்.

and thus we have revealed to you an arabic qur'an that you may warn the mother of cities [makkah] and those around it and warn of the day of assembly, about which there is no doubt. a party will be in paradise and a party in the blaze.
அவ்வாறே நகரங்களின் தாய்க்கும், (மக்காவுக்கும் அதனைச் சுற்றியுள்ளவற்றுக்கும் அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிப்பதற்காகவும், எவ்வித சந்தேகமுமின்றி (யாவரும்) ஒன்று சேர்க்கப்படும் நாளைப்பற்றி அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிப்பதற்காகவும், அரபி பொழியிலான இந்த குர்ஆனை நாம் உமக்கு வஹீஅறிவிக்கிறோம்; ஒரு கூட்டம் சுவர்க்கத்திலும் ஒரு கூட்டம் நரகிலும் இருக்கும்.

and this is a blessed book which we have sent down, confirming what came before it, in order that you warn the mother of the villages (mecca) and those who (live) around it. those who believe in the everlasting life believe in it and preserve their prayers.
இந்த வேதத்தை - அபிவிருத்தி நிறைந்ததாகவும், இதற்குமுன் வந்த (வேதங்களை) மெய்ப்படுத்துவதாகவும் நாம் இறக்கி வைத்துள்ளோம்; (இதைக்கொண்டு) நீர் (நகரங்களின் தாயாகிய) மக்காவில் உள்ளவர்களையும், அதனைச் சுற்றியுள்ளவர்களையும் எச்சரிக்கை செய்வதற்காகவும், (நாம் இதனை அருளினோம்.) எவர்கள் மறுமையை நம்புகிறார்களோ அவர்கள் இதை நம்புவார்கள். இன்னும் அவர்கள் தொழுகையைப் பேணுவார்கள்.
