it is your lord who drives your ships at sea so that you may seek his bounty. he is indeed the most merciful towards you.
(மானிடர்களே!) உங்கள் இறைவன் எப்படிப்பட்டவன் என்றால் அவனுடைய அருட் கொடைகளை நீங்கள் தேடி(ச் சம்பாதித்து)க் கொள்ளும் பொருட்டுக் கப்பலை அவனே கடலில் செலுத்துகிறான்; நிச்சயமாக அவன் உங்கள் மீது மிக்க கிருபையுடையவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

and if you invite them to guidance, they do not hear; and you see them looking towards you, yet they do not see.
நீங்கள் அவர்களை நேர் வழியின் பக்கம் அழைப்பீர்களானால், அவர்கள் கேட்கமாட்டார்கள். (நபியே!) அவர்கள் உம்மைப் பார்ப்பது போல் உமக்குத் தோன்றும்; ஆனால் அவர்கள் (உம்மைப்)பார்ப்பதில்லை.

and indeed we have sent down towards you clear verses, and some account of those who preceded you, and advice for the pious.
இன்னும் நிச்சயமாக உங்களுக்குத் தெளிவாக்கும் வசனங்களையும், உங்களுக்கு முன் சென்று போனவர்களின் உதாரணத்தையும், பயபக்தியுடையோருக்கு நல்லுபதேசத்தையும் நாம் இறக்கி வைத்திருக்கின்றோம்.

but for the bounty of allah and his mercy towards you in this life and in the everlasting life you would have been sternly punished for that which you were involved.
இன்னும், உங்கள் மீது இம்மையிலும், மறுமையிலும் அல்லாஹ்வின் அருளும், அவனுடைய ரஹ்மத்தும் இல்லாதிருந்தால், நீங்கள் இச் சர்ச்சையில் ஈடுபட்டிருந்தமைக்காக கடினமான வேதனை நிச்சயமாக உங்களைத் தீண்டியிருக்கும்.

"i but fulfil towards you the duties of my lord's mission: i am to you a sincere and trustworthy adviser.
"நான் என் இறைவனுடைய தூதையே உங்களிடம் எடுத்துக் கூறுகின்றேன். மேலும் நான் உங்களுக்கு நம்பிக்கையான உபதேசியாகவும் இருக்கின்றேன்" (என்று கூறினார்).

and we did not send down this book towards you except for you to clearly explain to them the matters in which they may differ, and a guidance and a mercy for the believers.
(நபியே!) அன்றியும், அவர்கள் எ(வ் விஷயத்)தில் தர்க்கித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார்களோ அதை நீர் தெளிவாக்குவதற்காகவே உம் மீது இவ்வேதத்தை இறக்கினோம்; இன்னும், ஈமான் கொண்டுள்ள மக்களுக்கு (இது) நேரான வழியாகவும், ரஹ்மத்தாகவும் (அருளாகவும்) இருக்கிறது.

if they find you, they will be your enemies, and will stretch forth towards you their hands and their tongues with evil, and they ardently desire that you may disbelieve.

allah wills to explain his commands to you and show you the ways of those before you, and to incline towards you with his mercy; and allah is all knowing, wise.
அல்லாஹ் (தன்னுடைய சட்டங்களை) உங்களுக்குத் தெளிவாக விளக்கவும், உங்களுக்கு முன் இருந்த (நல்ல)வர்கள் சென்ற (நேரான) வழிகளில் உங்களைச் செலுத்தவும், உங்களுக்கு பாவமன்னிப்பு அருளவுமே விரும்புகிறான். இன்னும் அல்லாஹ் நன்கு அறிந்தோனாகவும், ஞானமுடையோனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

"i but fulfil towards you the duties of my lord's mission: sincere is my advice to you, and i know from allah something that ye know not.
"நான் என் இறைவனுடைய தூதையே உங்களுக்கு எடுத்துக் கூறி; உங்களுக்கு நற்போதனையும் செய்கின்றேன் - மேலும் நீங்கள் அறியாதவற்றை அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து நான் அறிகிறேன்" (என்று கூறினார்).

o you who believe! do not consume each other’s wealth illicitly, but trade by mutual consent. and do not kill yourselves, for god is merciful towards you.
நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்களே! உங்களில் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் பொருந்திக் கொள்ளும் முறையில் ஏற்படுகிற வர்த்தகம் அல்லாமல், ஒருவர் மற்றொருவரின் பொருட்களை தவறான முறையில் உண்ணாதீர்கள்;. நீங்கள் உங்களையே கொலைசெய்து கொள்ளாதீர்கள் - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் உங்களிடம் மிக்க கருணையுடையவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.
