certainly the foolish among us say preposterous things of god.

and the foolish among us were wont to forge lie against allah exceedingly.

and that “the foolish among us have been wont to say outrageous things about allah”;

and [now we know] that the foolish among us have been saying outrageous things about god.
"ஆனால் நம்மில் மூடராகிவிட்ட (சிலர்) அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது தகாத வார்த்தைகளை சொல்லிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர்.

show forgiveness, enjoin what is good, and turn away from the foolish (i.e. don't punish them).
எனினும் (நபியே) மன்னிப்பைக் கைக் கொள்வீராக! நன்மையைக் கடைபிடிக்குமாறு (மக்களை) ஏவுவீராக மேலும் அறிவீனர்களைப் புறக்கணித்து விடும்.

and give not unto the foolish your property which allah has made a means of support for you, but feed and clothe them therewith, and speak to them words of kindness and justice.
(அநாதைகளின் பொருளுக்கு நீங்கள் மேலாளராக ஏற்பட்டால்) அவர்கள் புத்தி குறைவானவர்களாகயிருப்பின் (வாழ்க்கைக்கு) ஆதாரமாக அல்லாஹ் உங்களிடம் ஆக்கித் தந்த செல்வத்தை அவர்களிடம் ஒப்படைக்க வேண்டாம் - எனினும், அவர்களுக்கு அதிலிருந்து உணவளியுங்கள்;. ஆடையும் அளியுங்கள்;. இன்னும் அவர்களிடம் கனிவான வார்த்தைகள் கொண்டே பேசுங்கள்.

he said: o my lord! prison is more dear than that unto which they urge me, and if thou fend not off their wiles from me i shall incline unto them and become of the foolish.
(அதற்கு) அவர், "என் இறைவனே! இவர்கள் என்னை எதன் பக்கம் அழைக்கிறார்களோ, அ(த்தீய)தை விடச் சிறைக்கூடமே எனக்கு அதிக விருப்பமுடையதாகும்; இவர்களின் சதியை விட்டு நீ என்னைக் காப்பாற்றவில்லையானால், நான் இவர்கள் பால் சாய்ந்து (பாவத்தால்) அறிவில்லாதவர்களில் ஒருவனாகிவிடுவேன்" என்று (பிரார்த்தித்தவராக) கூறினார்.

and when it is said unto them: believe as the people believe, they say: shall we believe as the foolish believe? are not they indeed the foolish? but they know not.
(மற்ற) மனிதர்கள் ஈமான் கொண்டது போன்று நீங்களும் ஈமான் கொள்ளுங்கள் என்று அவர்களிடம் சொல்லப்பட்டால், 'மூடர்கள் ஈமான் (நம்பிக்கை) கொண்டது போல், நாங்களும் ஈமான் (நம்பிக்கை) கொள்ளவேண்டுமா?' என்று அவர்கள் கூறுகிறார்கள்; (அப்படியல்ல) நிச்சயமாக இ(ப்படிக்கூறுப)வர்களே மூடர்கள். ஆயினும் (தம் மடமையை) இவர்கள் அறிவதில்லை.

and the slaves of the most beneficent (allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness.
இன்னும் அர்ரஹ்மானுடைய அடியார்கள் (யாரென்றால்) அவர்கள்தாம் பூமியில் பணிவுடன் நடப்பவர்கள்; மூடர்கள் அவர்களுடன் பேசி(வாதா)ட முற்பட்டால் "ஸலாம்" (சாந்தியுண்டாகட்டும் என்று) சொல்லி (விலகிப் போய்) விடுவார்கள்.

'and that the foolish among us [i.e. iblis (satan) or the polytheists amongst the jinns] used to utter against allah that which was wrong and not right.
"ஆனால் நம்மில் மூடராகிவிட்ட (சிலர்) அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது தகாத வார்த்தைகளை சொல்லிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர்.
