verily the vilest of beasts with allah are the deaf and dumb who understand not.
நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் உயிர்ப்பிராணிகளில் மிக்க கேவலமானவர்கள் (உண்மையை) அறிந்து கொள்ளாச் செவிடர்களும் ஊமைகளும் தாம்.

அரபுமொழியில் அமைந்த இக் குர்ஆனுடைய வசனங்கள் அறிந்துணரும் மக்களுக்குத் தெளிவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

நான் உட்பட அவர்களின் கனவுகளை பின்பற்றத் துணிந்த சிலரில் ஒருவராக இருங்கள்

and when ye call to prayer they take it for a jest and sport. that is because they are a folk who understand not.
இன்னும் நீங்கள் தொழுகைக்கு அழைத்தால், - அதனை அவர்கள் பரிகாசமாகவும், விளையாட்டாகவும் எடுத்துக் கொள்கிறார்கள்;. இதற்கு காரணம் அவர்கள் அறிவில்லாத மக்களாக இருப்பதேயாம்.

and when ye call for the prayer they make a mockery and fun thereof. this because they are a people who understand not.
இன்னும் நீங்கள் தொழுகைக்கு அழைத்தால், - அதனை அவர்கள் பரிகாசமாகவும், விளையாட்டாகவும் எடுத்துக் கொள்கிறார்கள்;. இதற்கு காரணம் அவர்கள் அறிவில்லாத மக்களாக இருப்பதேயாம்.

நிச்சயமாக, வானங்கள், பூமி ஆகியவற்றின் படைப்பிலும்; இரவும், பகலும் மாறி மாறி வருவதிலும் அறிவுடையோருக்கு திடமாக அத்தாட்சிகள் பல இருக்கின்றன.

deep conversation with someone who understands you is everything
ஒவ்வொரு முறையும் எனது தொலைபேசி அதிர்வுறும் போது, அது நீங்கள் தான் என்று நம்புகிறேன்!!

and of the fruits of the palms and the vines, you take therefrom an intoxicant and a provision fair. surely in that is a sign for a people who understand.

என்னை யாரும் புரிந்து கொள்ளாதபோது

and he has subjected to you the night and the day, the sun and the moon; and the stars are subjected by his command. surely, in this are proofs for people who understand.
இன்னும் அவனே இரவையும், பகலையும், சூரியனையும், சந்திரனையும் உங்க(ள் நலன்க)ளுக்கு வசப்படுத்திக் கொடுத்துள்ளான்; அவ்வாறே நட்சத்திரங்களும் அவன் கட்டளைப் படியே வசப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன - நிச்சயமாக இதிலும் ஆய்ந்தறியக் கூடிய மக்கள் கூட்டத்தாருக்கு(த் தக்க) அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

and also a lesson for you in the fruits of the date-palms and the grapes whereof ye take a liquor and a provision goodly; verily therein is a sign far a people who understand.
பேரீச்சை, திராட்சை பழங்களிலிருந்து மதுவையும், நல்ல ஆகாரங்களையும் நீங்கள் உண்டாக்குகிறீர்கள்; நிச்சயமாக இதிலும் சிந்திக்கும் மக்களுக்கு ஓர் அத்தாட்சி இருக்கிறது.

and in the alternation of night and day, and the provision god sends down from heaven, and therewith revives the earth after it is dead, and the turning about of the winds, there are signs for a people who understand.
மேலும் இரவு பகல் மாறி மாறி வருவதிலும், வானத்திலிருந்து அருள் மாரியை அல்லாஹ் இறக்கி வைத்து, இறந்து போன பூமியை அதைக் கொண்டு உயிர்ப்பிப்பதிலும்; காற்றுகளை மாறி மாறி வீசச்செய்வதிலும் அறிவுடைய சமூகத்தாருக்கு அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

they fight not against you even together, except in fortified townships, or from behind walls. their enmity among themselves is very great. you would think they were united, but their hearts are divided, that is because they are a people who understand not.
கோட்டைகளால் அரண் செய்யப்பட்ட ஊர்களிலோ அல்லது மதில்களுக்கு அப்பால் இருந்து கொண்டோ அல்லாமல் அவர்கள் எல்லோரும் ஒன்று சேர்ந்து உங்களுடன் போரிட மாட்டார்கள், அவர்களுக்குள்ளேயே போரும், பகையும் மிகக் கடுமையானவை, (இந்நிலையில்) அவர்கள் யாவரும் ஒன்று பட்டிருப்பதாக நீர் எண்ணுகிறீர்; (ஆனால்) அவர்களுடைய இதயங்கள், சிதறிக் கிடக்கின்றன - இதற்குக் காரணம்; மெய்யாகவே அவர்கள் அறிவற்ற சமூகத்தார் என்பதுதான்.

they have said that their hearts cannot understand (what you, muhammad, say). god has condemned them for their denial of the truth. there are a very few of them who have faith.
இன்னும், அவர்கள் (யூதர்கள்) "எங்களுடைய இதயங்கள் திரையிடப்பட்டுள்ளன" என்று கூறுகிறார்கள். ஆனால் அவர்களுடைய (குஃப்ரு என்னும்) நிராகரிப்பின் காரனத்தால், அல்லாஹ் அவர்களைச் சபித்து விட்டான். ஆகவே, அவர்கள் சொற்பமாகவே ஈமான் கொள்வார்கள்.

and in the land, there are adjoining plots, gardens of vines, sown fields and palmtrees in pairs and single that are watered with one water, yet we make some excel others in produce. surely, in that are signs for a nation who understand.
இன்னும், பூமியில் அருகருகே இணைந்தார்போல் பல பகுதிகளை (அமைத்து, அவற்றில்) திராட்சைத் தோட்டங்களையும், விளைநிலங்களையும், கிளைகள் உள்ளதும், கிளைகள் இல்லாததுமான பேரீச்சை (வர்க்கத்தை)யும் (அவனே உண்டாக்கினான்; இவையனைத்திற்கும்) ஒரே தண்ணீர் கொண்டு தான் பாய்ச்சப்பட்டாலும், அவற்றில் சிலவற்றை வேறு சிலவற்றை விட சுவையில் நாம் மேன்மையாக்கியிருக்கின்றோம்; நிச்சயமாக இவற்றில் உணர்ந்தறியும் மக்களுக்கு பல அத்தாடசிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

0 prophet! urge the believers unto fighting. if there be twenty of you persevering, they will overcome two hundred, and if there be of you a hundred, they will overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, for they are a people who understand not.
நபியே! நீர் முஃமின்களை போருக்கு ஆர்வ மூட்டுவீராக உங்களில் பொறுமையுடையவர்கள் இருபது பேர் இருந்தால், இருநூறு பேர்களை வெற்றி கொள்வார்கள். இன்னும் உங்களில் நூறு பேர் இருந்தால் அவர்கள் காஃபிர்களில் ஆயிரம் பேரை வெற்றி கொள்வார்கள்; ஏனெனில் (முஃமின்களை எதிர்ப்போர்) நிச்சயமாக அறிவில்லாத மக்களாக இருப்பது தான் (காரணம்).
