(நபியே! இன்னும்) "மார்க்கத்திற்கு அந்தரங்க சுத்தியுடன் அல்லாஹ்வை வணங்குமாறு நிச்சயமாக நான் ஏவப்பட்டிருக்கின்றேன்" என்றும் கூறுவீராக.

"என் இறைவனுடைய அருள் இல்லாதிருந்தால், நானும் (நரகத்திற்குக்) கொண்டு வரப்பட்டவர்களில் ஒருவனாகியிருப்பேன்.

o believers, eat what is good of the food we have given you, and be grateful to god, if indeed you are obedient to him.
நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்களே! நாம் உங்களுக்கு அளித்துள்ளவற்றில் தூய்மையானவற்றையே உண்ணுங்கள்; நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வையே வணங்குபவர்களாக இருப்பீர்களாயின், அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தி வாருங்கள்.

or should say: if allah had but guided me i should have been among the dutiful!
அல்லது "அல்லாஹ் எனக்கு நேர்வழியை அறிவித்திருந்தால், நானும் முத்தகீன் - பயபக்தியுடையவர்களின் - ஒருவனாகி இருப்பேனே!" என்று கூறாமல் இருப்பதற்காகவும்;

and what reason have i that i should not serve him who brought me into existence? and to him you shall be brought back;
"அன்றியும், என்னைப்படைத்தவனை நான் வணங்காமலிருப்பதற்கு எனக்கென்ன (காரணமிருக்கிறது?) அவனிடமே நீங்கள் மீள்விக்கப்படுவீர்கள்.

(நபியே!) இஸ்ராயீலின் சந்ததிகளிடம் (யஹூதிகளிடம்) நீர் கேளும்; "நாம் எத்தனை தெளிவான அத்தாட்சிகளை அவர்களிடம் அனுப்பினோம்" என்று. அல்லாஹ்வின் அருள் கொடைகள் தம்மிடம் வந்த பின்னர், யார் அதை மாற்றுகிறார்களோ, (அத்தகையோருக்கு) தண்டனை கொடுப்பதில் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் கடுமையானவன்.

and lest a person should say: “if only allah had guided me, i should have been one of the god-fearing”;
அல்லது "அல்லாஹ் எனக்கு நேர்வழியை அறிவித்திருந்தால், நானும் முத்தகீன் - பயபக்தியுடையவர்களின் - ஒருவனாகி இருப்பேனே!" என்று கூறாமல் இருப்பதற்காகவும்;

for every community we have ordained certain rites that they may commemorate the name of god by reading it over the cattle we have given them for sacrifice. your god is one god, so be obedient to him. give good tidings to those who bow in obedience to god,
இன்னும் கால்நடை(ப்பிராணி)களிலிருந்து அல்லாஹ் அவர்களுக்கு உணவாக்கியுள்ள (ஆடு, மாடு, ஒட்டகம் போன்ற)வற்றின் மீது அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் பெயரைக் கூறும் படிச் செய்வதற்காவே குhபான் கொடுப்பதை ஒவ்வொரு வகுப்பாருக்கும் (கடமையாக) ஆக்கியிருக்கிறோம்; ஆகவே உங்கள் நாயன் ஒரே நாயன்தான்; எனவே அவ(ன் ஒருவ)னுக்கே நீங்கள முற்றிலும் வழிப்படுங்கள்; (நபியே!) உள்ளச்சம் உடையவர்களுக்கு நீர் நன்மாராயங் கூறுவீருhக!

and if grace from allah come to you, he would certainly cry out, as if there had not been any friendship between you and him: would that i had been with them, then i should have attained a mighty good fortune.
அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து உங்களுக்கு ஒரு பாக்கியம் கிடைக்குமானால், உங்களுக்கும் அவர்களுக்கு மிடையே நேசமே இல்லாத (அன்னியர்கள்) போல்; "நானும் அவர்களுடன் இருந்திருக்கக் கூடாதா? நானும் பெரும் பாக்கியத்தை அடைந்திருப்பேனே!" என்று நிச்சயமாகக் கூறுவார்கள்.

and they say: what is the matter with this apostle that he eats food and goes about in the markets; why has not an angel been sent down to him, so that he should have been a warner with him?
மேலும் அவர்கள் கூறுகிறார்கள்; "இந்த ரஸூலுக்கு என்ன? இவர் (மற்றவர்களைப் போலவே) உணவு உண்கிறார் கடை வீதிகளில் நடக்கிறார். இவருடன் சேர்ந்து அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிப்பதற்காக, ஒரு மலக்கு (வானவர்) அனுப்பப்பட்டிருக்க வேண்டாமா?"

but if, by god's grace, good fortune should be your lot, they will say, "if only i had been with them i should have achieved a great success," as if no affection had existed between you and them.
அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து உங்களுக்கு ஒரு பாக்கியம் கிடைக்குமானால், உங்களுக்கும் அவர்களுக்கு மிடையே நேசமே இல்லாத (அன்னியர்கள்) போல்; "நானும் அவர்களுடன் இருந்திருக்கக் கூடாதா? நானும் பெரும் பாக்கியத்தை அடைந்திருப்பேனே!" என்று நிச்சயமாகக் கூறுவார்கள்.

but, if the bounty of allah reaches you, he would surely say as if there had never been any affection between you and him: 'would that i had been with them! i should have indeed won a great triumph'
அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து உங்களுக்கு ஒரு பாக்கியம் கிடைக்குமானால், உங்களுக்கும் அவர்களுக்கு மிடையே நேசமே இல்லாத (அன்னியர்கள்) போல்; "நானும் அவர்களுடன் இருந்திருக்கக் கூடாதா? நானும் பெரும் பாக்கியத்தை அடைந்திருப்பேனே!" என்று நிச்சயமாகக் கூறுவார்கள்.

and those to whom we have given the book rejoice in that which has been revealed to you, and of the confederates are some who deny a part of it. say: i am only commanded that i should serve allah and not associate anything with him, to him do i invite (you) and to him is my return.
எவர்களுக்கு நாம் (முன்னர்) வேதத்தை அளித்தோமோ, அவர்கள் (நபியே!) உம் மீது இறக்கப்பட்ட (இவ்வேதத்)தைப் பற்றி மகிழ்வார்கள்; எனினும் இதன் சில பகுதிகளை மறுக்கிறவர்களும் (அவர்களுடைய) கூட்டதில் ஏவப்பட்டிருப்பதெல்லாம், அல்லாஹ் - (ஒருவனையே) வணங்க வேண்டும்; அவனுக்கு (எதனையும், எவரையும்) இணைவைக்கக் கூடாது என்பது தான்; நான் (உங்களை) அவன் பக்கமே அழைக்கின்றேன்; அவன் பாலே (என்) மீட்சியும் இருக்கிறது" என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக.

and those to whom we have given the book rejoice in what is sent down unto thee; and of the parties some reject some of it. say: 'i have only been commanded to serve god, and not to associate aught with him. to him i call, and to him i turn.'
எவர்களுக்கு நாம் (முன்னர்) வேதத்தை அளித்தோமோ, அவர்கள் (நபியே!) உம் மீது இறக்கப்பட்ட (இவ்வேதத்)தைப் பற்றி மகிழ்வார்கள்; எனினும் இதன் சில பகுதிகளை மறுக்கிறவர்களும் (அவர்களுடைய) கூட்டதில் ஏவப்பட்டிருப்பதெல்லாம், அல்லாஹ் - (ஒருவனையே) வணங்க வேண்டும்; அவனுக்கு (எதனையும், எவரையும்) இணைவைக்கக் கூடாது என்பது தான்; நான் (உங்களை) அவன் பக்கமே அழைக்கின்றேன்; அவன் பாலே (என்) மீட்சியும் இருக்கிறது" என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக.

those to whom we have given the scriptures rejoice in what we have sent down to you; but some of their factions reject some of it. tell them: "i am commanded to worship only god, and not to associate compeers with him. to him i call you, and to him is the destination."
