but you ridiculed them. so much so that out of (spite) for them you forgot to remember me and laughed at them.
அப்போது நீங்கள் அவர்களைப் பரிகாசத்திற்கு உரியவர்களாக ஆக்கிக் கொண்டீர்கள், எது வரையெனின் என் நினைவே உங்களுக்கு மறக்கலாயிற்று இன்னும் அவர்களைப் பற்றி நீங்கள் ஏளனமாக நகைத்துக் கொண்டும் இருந்தீர்கள்.

he will say, “just as our revelations came to you, and you forgot them, today you will be forgotten.”
(அதற்கு இறைவன்,) "இவ்விதம்தான் இருக்கும்; நம்முடைய வசனங்கள் உன்னிடம் வந்தன அவற்றை நீ மறந்துவிட்டாய்; அவ்வாறே இன்றைய தினம் நீயும் மறக்கப்பட்டு விட்டாய்" என்று கூறுவான்.

so now suffer. as you forgot the meeting of this your day of doom, so have we forgotten you. now taste the everlasting punishment for your deeds.
ஆகவே, உங்களுடைய இந்த நாளின் சந்திப்பை நீங்கள் மறந்திருந்ததின் (பலனை) அனுபவியுங்கள், நிச்சயமாக நாமும் உங்களை மறந்து விட்டோம்; மேலும் நீங்கள் செய்த (தீ) வினையின் பயனாக என்றென்றும் நிலையான வேதனையை அனுபவியுங்கள்" (என்று அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லப்படும்).

he will say: ‘so it is. our signs came to you, but you forgot them, and so you will be forgotten today.’
(அதற்கு இறைவன்,) "இவ்விதம்தான் இருக்கும்; நம்முடைய வசனங்கள் உன்னிடம் வந்தன அவற்றை நீ மறந்துவிட்டாய்; அவ்வாறே இன்றைய தினம் நீயும் மறக்கப்பட்டு விட்டாய்" என்று கூறுவான்.

he will say, “similarly did our signs come to you but you forgot them; and in the same way, nobody will heed you today.”
(அதற்கு இறைவன்,) "இவ்விதம்தான் இருக்கும்; நம்முடைய வசனங்கள் உன்னிடம் வந்தன அவற்றை நீ மறந்துவிட்டாய்; அவ்வாறே இன்றைய தினம் நீயும் மறக்கப்பட்டு விட்டாய்" என்று கூறுவான்.

he (allah) will say: 'it is so, our verses came to you and you forgot them. so this day you are forgotten'
(அதற்கு இறைவன்,) "இவ்விதம்தான் இருக்கும்; நம்முடைய வசனங்கள் உன்னிடம் வந்தன அவற்றை நீ மறந்துவிட்டாய்; அவ்வாறே இன்றைய தினம் நீயும் மறக்கப்பட்டு விட்டாய்" என்று கூறுவான்.

[allah] will say, "thus did our signs come to you, and you forgot them; and thus will you this day be forgotten."
(அதற்கு இறைவன்,) "இவ்விதம்தான் இருக்கும்; நம்முடைய வசனங்கள் உன்னிடம் வந்தன அவற்றை நீ மறந்துவிட்டாய்; அவ்வாறே இன்றைய தினம் நீயும் மறக்கப்பட்டு விட்டாய்" என்று கூறுவான்.

and it shall be said, 'today we do forget you, even as you forgot the encounter of this your day; and your refuge is the fire, and you shall have no helpers.
இன்னும், "நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய இந்நாளின் சந்திப்பை மறந்து விட்டது போன்றே, இன்றை தினம் நாம் உங்களை மறக்கிறோம்; அன்றியும் நீங்கள் தங்குமிடம் நரகம் தான்; மேலும், உங்களுக்கு உதவி செய்பவர் எவருமில்லை" என்று (அவர்களுக்குக்) கூறப்படும்.

and it will be said: "this day we will forget you as you forgot the meeting of this day of yours. and your abode is the fire, and there is none to help you."
இன்னும், "நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய இந்நாளின் சந்திப்பை மறந்து விட்டது போன்றே, இன்றை தினம் நாம் உங்களை மறக்கிறோம்; அன்றியும் நீங்கள் தங்குமிடம் நரகம் தான்; மேலும், உங்களுக்கு உதவி செய்பவர் எவருமில்லை" என்று (அவர்களுக்குக்) கூறப்படும்.

(we shall say to them): 'now taste, for you forgot the encounter of this day, we have forgotten you. taste our eternal punishment, for that which you were doing'
ஆகவே, உங்களுடைய இந்த நாளின் சந்திப்பை நீங்கள் மறந்திருந்ததின் (பலனை) அனுபவியுங்கள், நிச்சயமாக நாமும் உங்களை மறந்து விட்டோம்; மேலும் நீங்கள் செய்த (தீ) வினையின் பயனாக என்றென்றும் நிலையான வேதனையை அனுபவியுங்கள்" (என்று அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லப்படும்).

so taste [punishment] because you forgot the meeting of this, your day; indeed, we have [accordingly] forgotten you. and taste the punishment of eternity for what you used to do."
ஆகவே, உங்களுடைய இந்த நாளின் சந்திப்பை நீங்கள் மறந்திருந்ததின் (பலனை) அனுபவியுங்கள், நிச்சயமாக நாமும் உங்களை மறந்து விட்டோம்; மேலும் நீங்கள் செய்த (தீ) வினையின் பயனாக என்றென்றும் நிலையான வேதனையை அனுபவியுங்கள்" (என்று அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லப்படும்).
