o you who believe, seek courage in fortitude and prayer, for god is with those who are patient and persevere.

จงรำลึกขณะที่สองกลุ่ม ในหมู่พวกเจ้ารู้สึกอ่อนแอและขลาด และอัลลอฮ์เป็รนผู้ทรงคุ้มครองทั้งสองกลุ่มนั้นไว้ และแด่อัลลอฮ์นั้นมุมินทั้งหลายจงมอบหมายเถิด
when two parties among you were about to lose courage, but allah was their ally; and upon allah the believers should rely.
จงรำลึกขณะที่สองกลุ่ม ในหมู่พวกเจ้ารู้สึกอ่อนแอและขลาด และอัลลอฮ์เป็รนผู้ทรงคุ้มครองทั้งสองกลุ่มนั้นไว้ และแด่อัลลอฮ์นั้นมุมินทั้งหลายจงมอบหมายเถิด
and obey god and his messenger, and do not dispute, lest you falter and lose your courage. and be steadfast. god is with the steadfast.
“และจงเชื่อฟังอัลลอฮฺ และร่อซูลของพระองค์เถิด และจงอย่าขัดแย้งกัน จำทำให้พวกเจ้าย่อท้อ และทำให้ความเข้มแข็งของพวกเจ้าหมดไป และจงอดทนเถิด แท้จริงอัลลอฮฺนั้นทรงอยู่กับผู้ที่อดทนทั้งหลาย”
when two groups among you were about to lose courage—though allah is their guardian, and in allah let all the faithful put their trust.
จงรำลึกขณะที่สองกลุ่ม ในหมู่พวกเจ้ารู้สึกอ่อนแอและขลาด และอัลลอฮ์เป็รนผู้ทรงคุ้มครองทั้งสองกลุ่มนั้นไว้ และแด่อัลลอฮ์นั้นมุมินทั้งหลายจงมอบหมายเถิด
be of good courage, and let us behave ourselves valiantly for our people, and for the cities of our god: and let the lord do that which is good in his sight.
และท่านพูดว่า "ถ้ากำลังคนซีเรียแข็งเหลือกำลังของเราแล้วเจ้าจงช่วยเรา แต่ถ้ากำลังคนอัมโมนแข็งเกินกำลังของเจ้า เราจะช่วยเจ้
and obey allah and his messenger, and do not quarrel with one another lest you should lose courage and your power depart. be steadfast, surely allah is with those who remain steadfast.
“และจงเชื่อฟังอัลลอฮฺ และร่อซูลของพระองค์เถิด และจงอย่าขัดแย้งกัน จำทำให้พวกเจ้าย่อท้อ และทำให้ความเข้มแข็งของพวกเจ้าหมดไป และจงอดทนเถิด แท้จริงอัลลอฮฺนั้นทรงอยู่กับผู้ที่อดทนทั้งหลาย”
o my son, fulfil your moral obligations, bid what is known to be right and forbid what is wrong, and bear with patience what befalls you. these are indeed acts of courage and resolve.
“โอ้ลูกเอ๋ย เจ้าจงดำรงไว้ซึ่งการละหมาด และจงใช้กันให้กระทำความดี และจงห้ามปรามกันให้ละเว้นการทำความชั่ว และจงอดทนต่อสิ่งที่ประสบกับเจ้า แท้จริง นั่นคือส่วนหนึ่งจากกิจการที่หนักแน่น มั่นคง”
and obey allah and his noble messenger, and do not dispute with one another for you will lose courage again and your strength will be lost, and patiently endure; indeed allah is with those who patiently endure.
“และจงเชื่อฟังอัลลอฮฺ และร่อซูลของพระองค์เถิด และจงอย่าขัดแย้งกัน จำทำให้พวกเจ้าย่อท้อ และทำให้ความเข้มแข็งของพวกเจ้าหมดไป และจงอดทนเถิด แท้จริงอัลลอฮฺนั้นทรงอยู่กับผู้ที่อดทนทั้งหลาย”
and he gave joshua the son of nun a charge, and said, be strong and of a good courage: for thou shalt bring the children of israel into the land which i sware unto them: and i will be with thee.
พระองค์ตรัสสั่งโยชูวาบุตรชายนูนว่า "จงเข้มแข็งและกล้าหาญเถิด เพราะเจ้าจะนำคนอิสราเอลเข้าไปในแผ่นดินซึ่งเราปฏิญาณว่าจะให้แก่เขา เราจะอยู่กับเจ้า
[remember, o muhammad], when allah showed them to you in your dream as few; and if he had shown them to you as many, you [believers] would have lost courage and would have disputed in the matter [of whether to fight], but allah saved [you from that]. indeed, he is knowing of that within the breasts.
“จงรำลึกขณะที่อัลลอฮฺทรงให้เจ้า เห็นพวกเขา มีจำนวนน้อยในความฝันของเจ้า และหากว่าพระองค์ทรงให้เจ้าเห็นพวกเขามีจำนวนมากแล้วไซร้ แน่นอนพวกเจ้า ก็ย่อมย่อท้อกันและขัดแย้งกันในกิจการนั้น แต่ทว่าอัลลอฮฺได้ทรงให้ปลอดภัย แท้จริงพระองค์นั้นคือ ผู้ทรงรอบรู้สิ่ง ที่อยู่ในทรวงอก”
