and we vouchsafed unto them evidences of the affair. and they differed not except after the knowledge had come unto them, through spite among themselves. verily thy lord will decide between them on the day of judgment concerning that wherein they have been differing.
และเราได้ประทานหลักฐานอันชัดแจ้งทั้งหลายแก่พวกเขาเกี่ยวกับเรื่องนี้ พวกเขามิได้ขัดแย้งกันเว้นแต่หลักการ ได้มีความรู้มายังพวกเขาแล้วแต่เนื่องจากความริษยาระหว่างพวกเขากันเอง แท้จริงพระเจ้าจะทรงตัดสินระหว่างพวกเขาในวันกิยามะฮฺ ในสิ่งที่พวกเขาได้ขัดแย้งกันในเรื่องนั้น

and do not be like her who untwists her yarn having spun it into durable thread. do not use your oaths deceitfully because one party has ascendency over you. god surely tries you in this way: he will make it clear to you on the day of resurrection what you were differing about.
และพวกเจ้าอย่าเป็นเช่นนางที่คลายเกลียวด้ายของนาง หลังจากที่ได้ปั่นให้มันแน่นแล้ว โดยถือเอาการสาบานของพวกเจ้าเป็นการล่อลวงระหว่างพวกเจ้า เพื่อที่จะให้ชาติหนึ่งเข้มแข็งกว่าอีกชาติหนึ่ง แท้จริง อัลลอฮ์ทรงทดลองพวกเจ้าด้วยการสาบาน และแน่นอน พระองค์ตะทรงชี้แจงแก่พวกเจ้าในวันกิยามะฮ์ ถึงสิ่งที่พวกเจ้าขัดแย้งกันในเรื่องนั้น

"o my two companions of the prison! (i ask you): are many lords differing among themselves better, or the one allah, supreme and irresistible?
