they question you concerning dhul qarnayn. say, ‘i will relate to you an account of him.’
และพวกเขาถามเจ้าเกี่ยวกับซุลก็อรนัยน์ จงกล่าวเถิด “ฉันจะเล่าเรื่องของเขาแก่พวกท่าน”

but i will come to you shortly, if the lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.
แต่ถ้าองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงโปรด ข้าพเจ้าจะมาหาท่านในไม่ช้านี้ และข้าพเจ้าจะหยั่งดู มิใช่ถ้อยคำของคนที่ผยองเหล่านั้นแต่จะหยั่งดูฤทธิ์อำนาจของเข

they ask thee concerning zul-qarnain. say, "i will rehearse to you something of his story."

and i will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which i sent among you.
เราจะให้บรรดาปีของเจ้าคืนสู่สภาพเดิม คือที่ตั๊กแตนวัยบินได้กินเสีย ที่ตั๊กแตนวัยกระโดด ตั๊กแตนวัยคลาน และตั๊กแตนวัยเดินได้กิน คือกองทัพใหญ่ของเราที่เราส่งมาท่ามกลางเจ้านั้

an imp of the sprites said, “i will bring it to you before you rise from your seat. i am strong and reliable enough to do it.”
ผู้ปรีชาสามารถล้ำเลิศคนหนึ่งของพวกญินได้กล่าวว่า “ฉันจะนำมันมาเสนอท่าน ก่อนที่ท่านจะลุกขึ้นจากที่นั่งของท่าน และแท้จริงฉันเป็นผู้มีพลังและไว้วางใจได้ในเรื่องนี้”

a demon from among the jinn said, "i will bring it to you before you get up from your seat. i am strong and trustworthy enough to do it."
ผู้ปรีชาสามารถล้ำเลิศคนหนึ่งของพวกญินได้กล่าวว่า “ฉันจะนำมันมาเสนอท่าน ก่อนที่ท่านจะลุกขึ้นจากที่นั่งของท่าน และแท้จริงฉันเป็นผู้มีพลังและไว้วางใจได้ในเรื่องนี้”

allah said: surely i will send it down to you, but whoever shall disbelieve afterwards from among you, surely i will chastise him with a chastisement with which i will not chastise, anyone among the nations.
อัลลอฮ์ตรัสว่า แท้จริงข้าจะให้มันลงมาแก่พวกเจ้า แล้วผู้ใดในหมู่พวกเจ้าปฏิเสธศรัทธาหลังจากนั้น แน่นอนข้าจะลงโทษเขา ซึ่งโทษที่ข้าจะไม่ลงโทษนั้นแก่ผู้ใดในหมู่ประชาชาติทั้งหลาย

(remember) when moosa said to his wife, “i have sighted a fire; i will soon bring its news to you, or bring for you an ember from it so that you may warm yourselves.”
จงรำลึก เมื่อมูซากล่าวแก่ครอบครัวของเขา ว่า “แท้จริงฉันเห็นไฟ ฉันจะนำข่าวจากที่นั่นมาให้พวกท่านหรือฉันจะนำคบเพลิงมาให้พวกท่าน เพื่อพวกท่านจะได้ทำให้มันอุ่น”

(remember) when moses said unto his household: lo! i spy afar off a fire; i will bring you tidings thence, or bring to you a borrowed flame that ye may warm yourselves.

เขา (ฮูด) กล่าวว่า แท้จริงความรู้ (เรื่องการลงโทษ) นั้นอยู่ที่อัลลอฮฺ และฉันขอประกาศแก่พวกท่านตามที่ฉันได้ถูกส่งมาเพื่อการนี้ แต่ฉันเห็นว่าพวกท่านเป็นหมู่ชนผู้งมงาย

allah said, "indeed, i will sent it down to you, but whoever disbelieves afterwards from among you - then indeed will i punish him with a punishment by which i have not punished anyone among the worlds."
อัลลอฮ์ตรัสว่า แท้จริงข้าจะให้มันลงมาแก่พวกเจ้า แล้วผู้ใดในหมู่พวกเจ้าปฏิเสธศรัทธาหลังจากนั้น แน่นอนข้าจะลงโทษเขา ซึ่งโทษที่ข้าจะไม่ลงโทษนั้นแก่ผู้ใดในหมู่ประชาชาติทั้งหลาย

he said, "you will not receive food that is provided to you except that i will inform you of its interpretation before it comes to you. that is from what my lord has taught me. indeed, i have left the religion of a people who do not believe in allah, and they, in the hereafter, are disbelievers.
เขากล่าวว่า “อาหารที่ท่านทั้งสองจะได้รับจะยังไม่มาถึงท่านทั้งสอง เว้นแต่ฉันจะบอกกับท่านทั้งสองเป็นการทำนายมัน ก่อนที่มันจะมาถึงท่านทั้งสอง นั่นแหละคือสิ่งที่พระเจ้าของฉันทรงสอนฉัน แท้จริงฉันได้ละทิ้งแนวทางของกลุ่มชนผู้ไม่ศรัทธาต่ออัลลอฮ์ และพวกเขาเป็นพวกที่ปฏิเสธศรัทธาต่อวันปรโลก

allah said: 'i shall indeed send it down to you; then, i shall afflict whoever among you who disbelieves with a chastisement wherewith i will afflict none in the worlds.'
อัลลอฮ์ตรัสว่า แท้จริงข้าจะให้มันลงมาแก่พวกเจ้า แล้วผู้ใดในหมู่พวกเจ้าปฏิเสธศรัทธาหลังจากนั้น แน่นอนข้าจะลงโทษเขา ซึ่งโทษที่ข้าจะไม่ลงโทษนั้นแก่ผู้ใดในหมู่ประชาชาติทั้งหลาย
