เมื่อถึงเวลาแล้วจึงใช้ผู้รับใช้คนหนึ่งไปหาคนเช่าสวนเหล่านั้น เพื่อเขาทั้งหลายจะได้มอบผลจากสวนองุ่นแก่เขาบ้าง แต่คนเช่าสวนนั้นได้เฆี่ยนตีผู้รับใช้คนนั้นและไล่ให้กลับไปมือเปล่
