to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. allah witnesses everything.
ผู้ซึ่งกรรมสิทธิ์แห่งชั้นฟ้าทั้งหลายและแผ่นดินเป็นของพระองค์ และอัลลอฮฺนั้นทรงเป็นพยานต่อทุกสิ่งอย่าง

he that despised moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
คนที่ได้ฝ่าฝืนพระราชบัญญัติของโมเสสนั้น ถ้ามีพยานสักสองสามปาก ก็จะต้องตายโดยปราศจากความเมตต

how shall it be when we call witnesses from each and every people and call you as witness over them?
แล้วอย่างไรเล่า เมื่อเรานำพยานคนหนึ่งจากแต่ละประชาชาติมา และเราได้นำเจ้ามาเป็นพยานต่อชนเหล่านี้

and thou wast not on the western side when we decreed the affair unto musa, and thou wast not of the witnesses.
และเจ้า (มุฮัมมัด) มิได้ปรากฏอยู่ทางด้านข้างทิศตะวันตก เมื่อเราได้กำหนดกิจการแก่มูซา และเจ้ามิได้ปรากฏอยู่ในหมู่ผู้ร่วมเป็นพยาน

and you were not on the western side when we revealed to musa the commandment, and you were not among the witnesses;
และเจ้า (มุฮัมมัด) มิได้ปรากฏอยู่ทางด้านข้างทิศตะวันตก เมื่อเราได้กำหนดกิจการแก่มูซา และเจ้ามิได้ปรากฏอยู่ในหมู่ผู้ร่วมเป็นพยาน

indeed we shall help our apostles and those who have faith in the life of the world and on the day when the witnesses rise up,
แท้จริงเราจะช่วยเหลือบรรดาร่อซูลของเรา และบรรดาผู้ศรัทธาอย่างแน่นอน ทั้งในชีวิตของโลกนี้ และวันที่ซึ่งปวงพยานจะยืนขึ้นเป็นพยาน

"o lord, we believe in your revelations and follow this apostle. enroll us among the witnesses."
ข้าแต่พระเจ้าของพวกข้าพระองค์พวก ข้าพระองค์ศรัทธาแล้วต่อสิ่งที่พระองค์ได้ประทานลงมา และพวกข้าพระองค์ก็ได้ปฏิบัติตาม ร่อซูลแล้ว โปรดทรงบันทึกพวกข้าพระองค์ร่วมกับบรรดาผู้ที่กล่าวปฏิญาณยืนยันทั้งหลายด้วยเถิด

indeed, we will support our messengers and those who believe during the life of this world and on the day when the witnesses will stand -
แท้จริงเราจะช่วยเหลือบรรดาร่อซูลของเรา และบรรดาผู้ศรัทธาอย่างแน่นอน ทั้งในชีวิตของโลกนี้ และวันที่ซึ่งปวงพยานจะยืนขึ้นเป็นพยาน

he said: aye! your lord is the lord of the heavens and the earth who created them, and as to that i am of the witnesses.
เขากล่าวว่า “แต่ที่แท้จริงพระเจ้าของพวกท่าน คือพระเจ้าแห่งชั้นฟ้าทั้งหลายและแผ่นดิน ซึ่งพระองค์ทรงเนรมิตมัน และฉันเป็นผู้หนึ่งในหมู่ผู้เป็นพยานต่อการณ์นี้
