แล้วรวมทั้งพวกเจ้าอีกด้วย โอ้บรรดาผู้หลงผิด บรรดาผู้ปฏิเสธทั้งหลาย

you call me to reject god, and to associate with him what i have no knowledge of, while i call you to the mighty forgiver.
พวกท่านเชิญชวนฉันให้ปฏิเสธศรัทธาต่ออัลลอฮฺ และให้ฉันตั้งภาคีต่อพระองค์โดยที่ฉันไม่รู้มาก่อนเลยในเรื่องนั้น และฉันได้เชิญชวนพวกท่านไปสู่ผู้ทรงอำนาจ ผู้ทรงอภัยอย่างมากหมาย

you call me to disbelieve in allah and to associate with him that of which i know nothing; while i call you to the almighty, the forgiving.
พวกท่านเชิญชวนฉันให้ปฏิเสธศรัทธาต่ออัลลอฮฺ และให้ฉันตั้งภาคีต่อพระองค์โดยที่ฉันไม่รู้มาก่อนเลยในเรื่องนั้น และฉันได้เชิญชวนพวกท่านไปสู่ผู้ทรงอำนาจ ผู้ทรงอภัยอย่างมากหมาย

and your people call it a lie and it is the very truth. say: i am not placed in charge of you.
และกลุ่มชนของเจ้านั้นได้ปฏิเสธอัลกุรอาน ทั้ง ๆ ที่อัลกุรอานนั้นเป็นสัจธรรม จงกล่าวเถิด (มุฮัมมัด) ว่า ฉันมิใช่ผู้พิทักษ์พวกท่านดอก

you call me to disbelieve in god and to believe other things equal to him about which i have no knowledge. i call you to the majestic and all-forgiving one.
พวกท่านเชิญชวนฉันให้ปฏิเสธศรัทธาต่ออัลลอฮฺ และให้ฉันตั้งภาคีต่อพระองค์โดยที่ฉันไม่รู้มาก่อนเลยในเรื่องนั้น และฉันได้เชิญชวนพวกท่านไปสู่ผู้ทรงอำนาจ ผู้ทรงอภัยอย่างมากหมาย

my nation, how is it that i call you to salvation and you call me to the fire?
และโอ้หมู่ชนของฉันเอ๋ย! ทำไมฉันจึงเชิญชวนพวกท่านไปสู่การรอดพ้น แต่พวกท่านเชิญชวนฉันไปสู่ไฟนรก

o my people, how is it that i call you to salvation, and you call me to the fire?
และโอ้หมู่ชนของฉันเอ๋ย! ทำไมฉันจึงเชิญชวนพวกท่านไปสู่การรอดพ้น แต่พวกท่านเชิญชวนฉันไปสู่ไฟนรก

and, o my people! how is it that i call you to salvation and you call me to the fire?
และโอ้หมู่ชนของฉันเอ๋ย! ทำไมฉันจึงเชิญชวนพวกท่านไปสู่การรอดพ้น แต่พวกท่านเชิญชวนฉันไปสู่ไฟนรก

o my people, how is it with me, that i call you to salvation, and you call me to the fire?
และโอ้หมู่ชนของฉันเอ๋ย! ทำไมฉันจึงเชิญชวนพวกท่านไปสู่การรอดพ้น แต่พวกท่านเชิญชวนฉันไปสู่ไฟนรก

"and o my people! how is it that i call you to salvation while you call me to the fire!
และโอ้หมู่ชนของฉันเอ๋ย! ทำไมฉันจึงเชิญชวนพวกท่านไปสู่การรอดพ้น แต่พวกท่านเชิญชวนฉันไปสู่ไฟนรก

“and o my people! what is the matter with me that i call you towards salvation whereas you call me towards hell?”
และโอ้หมู่ชนของฉันเอ๋ย! ทำไมฉันจึงเชิญชวนพวกท่านไปสู่การรอดพ้น แต่พวกท่านเชิญชวนฉันไปสู่ไฟนรก

and they call (it) a lie, and follow their low desires; and every affair has its appointed term.
และพวกเขาได้ปฏิเสธและปฏิบัติตามอารมณ์ใฝ่ต่ำของพวกเขา และกิจการทุกอย่างย่อมเป็นไปตามกำหนด

you call me to deny allah and to associate with him as his partners those regarding whom i have no knowledge (that they are allah's partners in his divinity), whereas i call you to the most mighty, the most forgiving?
พวกท่านเชิญชวนฉันให้ปฏิเสธศรัทธาต่ออัลลอฮฺ และให้ฉันตั้งภาคีต่อพระองค์โดยที่ฉันไม่รู้มาก่อนเลยในเรื่องนั้น และฉันได้เชิญชวนพวกท่านไปสู่ผู้ทรงอำนาจ ผู้ทรงอภัยอย่างมากหมาย

say: surely i have manifest proof from my lord and you call it a lie; i have not with me that which you would hasten; the judgment is only allah's; he relates the truth and he is the best of deciders.
จงกล่าวเถิด(มุฮัมมัด) แท้จริงฉันอยู่บนหลักฐานอันชัดเจน จากพระเจ้าของฉัน ในขณะเดียวกันพวกเจ้าก็ปฏิเสธหลักฐานนั้น ที่ฉันนั้นไม่มีสิ่งที่พวกเจ้าเร่งรีบดอก แท้จริงการชี้ขาดนั้นมิใช่สิทธิของใครอื่น นอกจากเป็นสิทธิของอัลลอฮ์เท่านั้น โดยที่พระองค์จะทรงแจ้งความจริง และพรองค์เป็นผู้ที่เยี่ยมที่สุดในบรรดาผู้ชี้ขาด

and you (o muhammad saw) were not at the side of the tur (mount) when we did call, [it is said that allah called the followers of muhammad saw, and they answered his call, or that allah called musa (moses)]. but (you are sent) as a mercy from your lord, to give warning to a people to whom no warner had come before you, in order that they may remember or receive admonition. [tafsir at-tabari, vol. 20, page 81].
และเจ้า (มุฮัมมัด) มิได้ปรากฏอยู่ทางด้านข้างของภูเขาฎูร เมื่อเราได้ร้องเรียก แต่มันเป็นความเมตตาจากพระเจ้าของเจ้าเพื่อเจ้าจักได้ตักเตือนกลุ่มชนหนึ่ง ที่มิได้มีผู้ตักเตือนคนใดมายังพวกเขาก่อนหน้าเจ้า หวังว่าพวกเขาจะได้ใคร่ครวญ
