ཆོས་ཀྱི་འཁོར་སྡུད་སྡུད་པ་ཡིན་ན།

following the example of going forth set
རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་བའི་རྗེས་སུ་

the postulant would make the following petition:
དེས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་བརྗོད་པར་བྱ་སྟེ།

and made the following request to the blessed one:
བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །

prostrated at his feet, and made the following request:
བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཞབས་གཉིས་ལ་མགོ་བོས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ཏེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །

next, the ordinand petitions the preceptor in the following way
དེའི་འོག་ཏུ་མཁན་པོར་གསོལ་བ་བྱའོ། །འདི་ལྟར་གསོལ་བར་བྱ་སྟེ།

the monk informant then informs the saṅgha in the following way.
དེའི་འོག་ཏུ་ཞུ་བའི་དགེ་སློང་གིས་ཞུ་བར་བྱའོ། །འདི་ལྟར་ཞུ་བར་བྱ་སྟེ།

and as he stands before them, asks the following question:
འདུད་པ་དང་བཅས་པས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་བརྗོད་པར་བྱ་སྟེ།

the novice then pledges to keep the precepts in the following way:
དེའི་འོག་ཏུ་བསླབ་པ་བརྗོད་པ་ཁས་བླང་བའི་ཚུལ་གྱིས་བྱའོ། །འདི་ལྟར་བྱ་སྟེ།

nautilus could not create the following required folders: %s.
གཤམ་གྱི་དགོས་པའི་ཡིག་སྣོད་དེ་nautilus་ཡིས་གསར་འཛུགས་མ་ཐུབ་པ། %s

bows, and says the following: “venerable saṅgha, please listen.
འདུད་པ་དང་བཅས་པས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་བརྗོད་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། དགེ་འདུན་བཙུན་པ་རྣམས་གསན་དུ་གསོལ། །

the postulant then expresses his commitment to the precepts with the following words:
དེའི་འོག་ཏུ་བསླབ་པ་བརྗོད་པ་ཁས་བླང་བའི་ཚུལ་གྱིས་བྱའོ། །འདི་ལྟར་བྱ་སྟེ།

acting on the petition. the petition would be acted on in the following way:
བསྙེན་པར་རྫོགས་པར་མཛད་དོ། །འདི་ནི་གསོལ་བའོ། །ལས་ནི་འདི་ལྟར་བྱ་སྟེ།

he lived and dwelt with a following of twenty thousand monks in the Ṛṣipatana deer park near vārāṇasī.
དེ་དགེ་སློང་ཉི་ཁྲིའི་འཁོར་དང་། བཱ་རཱ་ཎ་སཱི་ན་དྲང་སྲོང་སྨྲ་བ་རི་དགས་ཀྱི་ནགས་ན་ཉེ་བར་རྟེན་ཅིང་བཞུགས་སོ། །

both rise and the ordinand places the begging bowl in his left hand while he covers it with his right hand and says the following:
གཉི་ག་འགྲེང་སྟེ་ལག་པ་གཡོན་པར་ལྷུང་བཟེད་བཞག་ལ་ལག་པ་གཡས་པས་བཀབ་ནས་དེས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་བརྗོད་པར་བྱ་སྟེ།

if the ordinand’s dharma robes have not already been cut and sewn, the materials must be sanctioned in the following way.
གལ་ཏེ་རེ་ཞིག་ཆོས་གོས་དྲས་ཤིང་དྲུབས་པ་དག་མེད་ན་རྒྱུ་ལ་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབ་པར་བྱའོ། །འདི་ལྟར་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབ་པར་བྱ་སྟེ།

དེ་གཉིས་བརྩོན་འགྲུས་རྩོམ་པས་བཀླག་པར་བྱ་བར་བརྩམས་ཏེ་ལུང་ནོད་པ་དང་། ཇི་ཙམ་ན་གླེང་གཞི་དང་། ཡང་དག་པར་ལྡན་པའི་རྒྱུད་དུ་གཏོགས་པ་ལས།
