myristica fragrans houtt is the most widely grown variety of nutmeg in maluku because it has a much higher economic value than other varieties. this prima donna plant has considerable potential, especially the fruit part because it has economic value. nutmeg consists of flesh, mace (mace), shell and seeds. the purpose of this community service is to equip the community in the correct manufacture of nutmeg flesh simplicia. this simplicia preparation is an option for training and can be traded for product development among the community. the target of this community service activity is community leaders totaling 29 participants. this activity was carried out on 19-23 august 2023 in tanah tinggi barat village, ternate city, north maluku province. the method of activity is counseling/providing material and training on making nutmeg flesh simplicia. this activity was carried out in 4 stages, namely preparation, counseling, training, and evaluating the success of the program. there are still very many people who do not know the benefits of nutmeg flesh and how to make plant simplicia correctly. after carrying out counseling and training on making nutmeg flesh simplicia and its benefits as a medicinal plant, there has been an increase in public knowledge about the benefits of nutmeg flesh and its processing into simplicia which can be utilized from waste to become medicinal ingredients that can be stored for a long time. keywords: simplisia; nutmeg flesh; myristica fragrans
