praecedat dominus meus ante servum suum et ego sequar paulatim vestigia eius sicut videro posse parvulos meos donec veniam ad dominum meum in sei
let my lord, i pray thee, pass over before his servant: and i will lead on softly, according as the cattle that goeth before me and the children be able to endure, until i come unto my lord unto seir.

nunc igitur veni ut loquar ad regem dominum meum verbum hoc praesente populo et dixit ancilla tua loquar ad regem si quo modo faciat rex verbum ancillae sua
now therefore that i am come to speak of this thing unto my lord the king, it is because the people have made me afraid: and thy handmaid said, i will now speak unto the king; it may be that the king will perform the request of his handmaid.

and the prince of the eunuchs said unto daniel, i fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.

et dixit abner ad david surgam ut congregem ad te dominum meum regem omnem israhel et ineam tecum foedus et imperes omnibus sicut desiderat anima tua cum ergo deduxisset david abner et ille isset in pac
and abner said unto david, i will arise and go, and will gather all israel unto my lord the king, that they may make a league with thee, and that thou mayest reign over all that thine heart desireth. and david sent abner away; and he went in peace.
