Η εφαρμογή της παρούσας συμφωνίας στον αερολιμένα του Γιβραλτάρ νοείται με την επιφύλαξη των αντίστοιχων νομικών διατάξεων του Βασιλείου της Ισπανίας και του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου που αφορούν τη διαμάχη για την κυριαρχία στο έδαφος όπου βρίσκεται ο αερολιμένας.2. Η εφαρμογή της παρούσας συμφωνίας στον αερολιμένα του Γιβραλτάρ αναστέλλεται έως ότου τεθούν σε εφαρμογή οι ρυθμίσεις που περιέχει η κοινή δήλωση των υπουργών Εξωτερικών του Βασιλείου της Ισπανίας και του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου, της 2ας Δεκεμβρίου 1987.
