И собрались в Массифу, и черпали воду, и проливали пред Господом, и постились в тот день,
and they gathered together at mizpeh, and drew water and poured it out before the lord, and fasted on that day, and said, we have sinned against the lord.

И сошел на Иеффая Дух Господень, и прошел он Галаад и Манассию, и прошел Массифу Галаадскую,

3 И сыны Вениаминовы услышали, что сыны Израилевы пришли в Массифу. И сказали сыны Израилевы: скажите, как происходило это зло

29 И был на Иеффае Дух Господень, и прошел он Галаад и Манассию, и прошел Массифу Галаадскую, и из Массифы Галаадской пошел к Аммонитянам.
29 then the spirit of the lord came upon jephthah, and he passed over gilead , and manasseh , and passed over mizpeh of gilead , and from mizpeh of gilead he passed over unto the children of ammon.

3 И сыны Вениаминовы услышали, что сыны Израилевы пришли в Массифу. И сказали сыны Израилевы: скажите, как происходило это зло?
3 and the children of benjamin heard that the children of israel had gone up to mizpah. and the children of israel said, tell us, how was this wickedness?

7Когда же услышали Филистимляне, что собрались сыны Израилевы в Массифу, тогда пошли владетели Филистимские на Израиля. Израильтяне, услышав о том , убоялись Филистимлян.
7 now when the philistines heard that the israelites had gathered at mizpah , the lords of the philistines went up against israel . and when the israelites heard of it, they were afraid of the philistines .

1 И поклялись Израильтяне в Массифе, говоря: никто из нас не отдаст дочери своей сынам Вениамина в замужество.
1 now the men of israel had sworn in mizpeh, saying, there shall not any of us give his daughter unto benjamin to wife.
