Čarovnik je na voljo za tiskanje v sistemih cups in rlpr (kliknite gumb » lastnosti «... ali pa se povezati do obstoječeka tiskalniškega strežnika cups. povežete se lahko s klikom na spodnji gumb » sistemske možnosti «. odprlo se bo novo pogovorno okno: kliknite na ikono » strežnik cups « in nato vnesite potrebne informacije za uporabo oddaljenega strežnika. vedite: lahko se zgodi, da se uspešno povežete na oddaljeni strežnik cups, vendar pa še vedno ne dobite seznama tiskalnikov. Če se to zgodi, prisilite program kdeprint, da znova naloži svoje nastavitvene datoteke. to storite tako, da znova zaženete kprinter ali pa uporabite stikalo za odklop tiskalniškega sistema stran od cups in vnovičen priklop nanj. stikalo tiskalniškega sistema lahko sprožite preko izbir v spustnem meniju na dnu tega pogovornega okna, ko je polno razširjeno.
