እኔ የአባቴን ትእዛዝ እንደ ጠበቅሁ በፍቅሩም እንደምኖር፥ ትእዛዜን ብትጠብቁ በፍቅሬ ትኖራላችሁ።
if ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as i have kept my father's commandments, and abide in his love.

እንደ ሥጋ ፈቃድ ብትኖሩ ትሞቱ ዘንድ አላችሁና፤ በመንፈስ ግን የሰውነትን ሥራ ብትገድሉ በሕይወት ትኖራላችሁ።
for if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

« በእርሷ ላይ ትኖራላችሁ ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ላይ ትሞታላችሁ ፡ ፡ ከእርሷም ውስጥ ትወጣላችሁ » አላቸው ፡ ፡
allah said : therein ye shall live and therein ye shall die , and therefrom ye shall be brought forth .

ለጣዖት ከተሠዋ፥ ከደምም፥ ከታነቀም፥ ከዝሙትም ትርቁ ዘንድ ከዚህ ከሚያስፈልገው በቀር ሌላ ሸክም እንዳንጭንባችሁ እኛና መንፈስ ቅዱስ ፈቅደናልና፤ ከዚህም ሁሉ ራሳችሁን ብትጠብቁ በመልካም ትኖራላችሁ። ጤና ይስጣችሁ።
for it seemed good to the holy ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
