ወንድሞች ሆይ፥ በመካከላችሁ የሚደክሙትን በጌታም የሚገዙአችሁን የሚገሥጹአችሁንም ታውቁ ዘንድ፥ ስለ ሥራቸውም በፍቅር ከመጠን ይልቅ ታከብሩአቸው ዘንድ እንለምናችኋለን። እርስ በርሳችሁ በሰላም ሁኑ።
and we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the lord, and admonish you;

እንግዲህ በቀረውስ፥ ወንድሞች ሆይ፥ ልትመላለሱ እግዚአብሔርንም ደስ ልታሰኙ እንዴት እንደሚገባችሁ ከእኛ ዘንድ እንደ ተቀበላችሁ፥ እናንተ ደግሞ እንደምትመላለሱ፥ ከፊት ይልቅ ትበዙ ዘንድ በጌታ በኢየሱስ እንለምናችኋለን እንመክራችሁማለን።
furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the lord jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please god, so ye would abound more and more.

ነገር ግን፥ ወንድሞች ሆይ፥ ስለ ጌታችን ስለ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ መምጣትና ወደ እርሱ ስለ መሰብሰባችን፥ በመንፈስ ወይም በቃል ወይም ከእኛ እንደሚመጣ በመልእክት። የጌታ ቀን ደርሶአል ብላችሁ፥ ከአእምሮአችሁ ቶሎ እንዳትናወጡ እንዳትደነግጡም እንለምናችኋለን።
