ሳይታክቱም ዘወትር ሊጸልዩ እንዲገባቸው የሚል ምሳሌን ነገራቸው፥
and he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

ዓይኖቻቸው እንዳያዩ ይጨልሙ፥ ጀርባቸውንም ዘወትር አጉብጥ ብሎአል።
let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.

እኛ በእነርሱ ላይ ዘወትር መናጢ በኾነ ቀን በኀይል የምትንሻሻ ነፋስን ላክንባቸው ፡ ፡
and we sent against them a howling wind in a day of continuous of ill fortune

የኢየሱስ ሕይወት ደግሞ በሚሞት ሥጋችን ይገለጥ ዘንድ እኛ ሕያዋን የሆንን ከኢየሱስ የተነሣ ዘወትር ለሞት አልፈን እንሰጣለንና።
for we which live are alway delivered unto death for jesus' sake, that the life also of jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

ፀሐይንና ጨረቃንም ዘወትር ኼያጆች ሲኾኑ ለእናንተ የገራ ሌሊትንና ቀንንም ለእናንተ የገራላችሁ ነው ፡ ፡
and he committed the sun and the moon to your service , both continuously pursuing their courses , and he committed the night and the day to your service .

ስለዚህ እነዚህን ነገሮች ምንም ብታውቁ በእናንተም ዘንድ ባለ እውነት ምንም ብትጸኑ፥ ስለ እነዚህ ዘወትር እንዳሳስባችሁ ቸል አልልም።
wherefore i will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.

ከነዚህ ከታናናሾቹ አንዱን እንዳትንቁ ተጠንቀቁ፤ መላእክቶቻቸው በሰማያት ዘወትር በሰማያት ያለውን የአባቴን ፊት ያያሉ እላችኋለሁና።
take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for i say unto you, that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my father which is in heaven.

ኀዘንተኞች ስንሆን ዘወትር ደስ ይለናል፤ ድሆች ስንሆን ብዙዎችን ባለ ጠጎች እናደርጋለን፤ አንዳች የሌለን ስንሆን ሁሉ የእኛ ነው።
as sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

ከሚንቀሳቀሱ እንስሳዎች ሁሉ አላህ ዘንድ ይበልጥ ክፉዎቹ እነዚያ ዘወትር የካዱት ናቸው ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ እነሱ አያምኑም ፡ ፡
for the worst of beasts in the sight of allah are those who reject him : they will not believe .

በሰማያትና በምድር ያለው ሁሉ የርሱ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ መገዛትም ዘወትር ሲኾን ለርሱ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ከአላህም ሌላ ያለን ትፈራላችሁን
and his is whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth , and unto him is obedience due perpetually ; will ye then fear any other than allah ?

በኢብራሂምና በእነዚያ ከእርሱ ጋር በነበሩት ( ምእምናን ) መልካም መከተል አለቻችሁ ፡ ፡ ለሕዝቦቻቸው « እኛ ከእናንተ ከአላህ ሌላ ከምትግገዙትም ንጹሖች ነን ፡ ፡ በእናንተ ካድን ፡ ፡ በአላህ አንድ ብቻ ሲኾን እስከምታምኑ ድረስ በእኛና በእናንተ መካከል ጠብና ጥላቻ ዘወትር ተገለጸ ፡ ፡ » ባሉ ጊዜ ( መልካም መከተል አለቻችሁ ) ፡ ፡ ኢብራሂም ለአባቱ « እኔ ለአንተ ከአላህ ( ቅጣት ) ምንም የማልጠቅም ስኾን ለአንተ በእርግጥ ምሕረትን እለምንልኻለሁ » ማለቱ ብቻ ሲቀር ፡ ፡ « ጌታችን ሆይ ! በአንተ ላይ ተመካን ፡ ፡ ወደ አንተም ተመለስን መመለሻም ወደ አንተ ብቻ ነው ፤ » ( ባለው ተከተሉት ) ፡ ፡
( but you may not emulate ) abraham 's saying to his father : “ certainly i will ask pardon for you , although i have no power over allah to obtain anything on your behalf . ” ( and abraham and his companions prayed ) : “ our lord , in you have we put our trust , and to you have we turned , and to you is our ultimate return .
