" my lord ! grant me ( offspring ) from the righteous . "

হে আমার পালনকর ্ তা , আমাকে প ্ রজ ্ ঞা দান কর এবং আমাকে সৎকর ্ মশীলদের অন ্ তর ্ ভুক ্ ত কর
" o my lord ! bestow wisdom on me , and join me with the righteous ;

আর নামায কায়েম কর , যাকাত দান কর এবং নামাযে অবনত হও তাদের সাথে , যারা অবনত হয় ।
and attend to your prayers , and practice regular charity , and kneel with those who kneel .

''এ হচ্ছে আমাদের দান, অতএব তুমি দান কর বা রেখে দাও -- কোনো হিসাবপত্র লাগবে না।’’
we told him , " this is our gift to you so give them away free or keep them as you like " .

আত ্ নীয়-স ্ বজনকে তার হক দান কর এবং অভাবগ ্ রস ্ ত ও মুসাফিরকেও । এবং কিছুতেই অপব ্ যয় করো না ।

আর তাদের মধ ্ যে কেউ কেউ বলে-হে পরওয়ারদেগার ! আমাদিগকে দুনয়াতেও কল ্ যাণ দান কর এবং আখেরাতেও কল ্ যাণ দান কর এবং আমাদিগকে দোযখের আযাব থেকে রক ্ ষা কর ।
and among them are some that say , “ our lord ! give us good in the world and good in the hereafter , and save us from the punishment of fire ! ”

সেখানেই যাকারিয়া তাঁর পালনকর ্ তার নিকট প ্ রার ্ থনা করলেন । বললেন , হে , আমার পালনকর ্ তা ! তোমার নিকট থেকে আমাকে পুত-পবিত ্ র সন ্ তান দান কর-নিশ ্ চয়ই তুমি প ্ রার ্ থনা শ ্ রবণকারী ।
at that , zechariah called upon his lord , saying , " my lord , grant me from yourself a good offspring . indeed , you are the hearer of supplication . "
