অতঃপর যে লোক এই ওয়াদা থেকে ফিরে দাঁড়াবে , সেই হবে নাফরমান ।
after this , whoever turns away will be of the evil-doers .

পিতা-মাতার অনুগত এবং সে উদ ্ ধত , নাফরমান ছিল না ।
and cherishing his parents , not arrogant , rebellious .

এবং আমি লূতকে দিয়েছিলাম প ্ রজ ্ ঞা ও জ ্ ঞান এবং তাঁকে ঐ জনপদ থেকে উদ ্ ধার করেছিলাম , যারা নোংরা কাজে লিপ ্ ত ছিল । তারা মন ্ দ ও নাফরমান সম ্ প ্ রদায় ছিল ।
and ( as for ) lut , we gave him wisdom and knowledge , and we delivered him from the town which wrought abominations ; surely they were an evil people , transgressors ;

তারা তোমার সামনে কসম খাবে যাতে তুমি তাদের প ্ রতি রাযী হয়ে যাও । অতএব , তুমি যদি রাযী হয়ে যাও তাদের প ্ রতি তবু আল ্ লাহ তা ’ আলা রাযী হবেন না , এ নাফরমান লোকদের প ্ রতি ।
they ( the hypocrites ) swear to you ( muslims ) that you may be pleased with them , but if you are pleased with them , certainly allah is not pleased with the people who are al-fasiqun ( rebellious , disobedient to allah ) .

আর তাদের কাছে সে জনপদের অবস ্ থা সম ্ পর ্ কে জিজ ্ ঞেস কর যা ছিল নদীর তীরে অবস ্ থিত । যখন শনিবার দিনের নির ্ দেশের ব ্ যাপারে সীমাতিক ্ রম করতে লাগল , যখন আসতে লাগল মাছগুলো তাদের কাছে শনিবার দিন পানির উপর , আর যেদিন শনিবার হত না , আসত না । এভাবে আমি তাদেরকে পরীক ্ ষা করেছি । কারণ , তারা ছিল নাফরমান ।
and ask them about the town that was by the sea - when they transgressed in [ the matter of ] the sabbath - when their fish came to them openly on their sabbath day , and the day they had no sabbath they did not come to them . thus did we give them trial because they were defiantly disobedient .
