every piece of clothing we put on is essentially a fashion choice, fashion is something we all participate in whether we are aware of it or not. one day i hope to become a fashion designer.a fashion designer designs and assists with the production of clothing, shoes and accessories, they identify trends and select different fabrics and styles for a collection. to become a fashion designer formal education is not required but math literacy, english, art and business is recommended. the general educational requirements include a degree in art or design which many universities offer, it can take between one and four years to complete your degree. fashion designers have many work opportunities as it is a very diverse industry, people are always looking for something new and trends are always changing. this career appeals to me as it allows me to be creative and hands on, you are able to create a wide variety of different pieces using different fabrics and patterns, this career also allows you to travel which is something i want to do in the future. my goals as a fashion designer is to create clothing for all sizes, ages and genders as well as making unique and affordable pieces of clothing.
