በፊተኞቹም ሕዝቦች ውስጥ ከነቢይ ብዙን ልከናል ፡ ፡

have we not , made for him two eyes
ለእርሱ ሁለት ዓይኖችን አላደረግንለትምን ?

have we not opened up your breast
ልብህን ለአንተ አላሰፋንልህምን ? ( አስፍተንልሃል ) ፡ ፡

everything have we recorded in a book .
ነገሩንም ሁሉ የተጻፈ ሲኾን አጠቃለልነው ፡ ፡

have we not made the earth a receptacle
ምድርን ሰብሳቢ አላደረግናትምን ?

and everything have we recorded in a book .
ነገሩንም ሁሉ የተጻፈ ሲኾን አጠቃለልነው ፡ ፡

and all things have we preserved on record .
ነገሩንም ሁሉ የተጻፈ ሲኾን አጠቃለልነው ፡ ፡

have we not made the earth an even expanse ?
ምድርን ምንጣፍ አላደረግንምን ?

and the earth – we spread it out , and how well have we smoothed it !
ምድርንም ዘረጋናት ፡ ፡ ምን ያማርንም ዘርጊዎች ( ነን ! )

and ( have we not ) created you in pairs ,
ብዙ ዓይነቶችም አድርገን ፈጠርናችሁ ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , have we not comforted your heart ,
ልብህን ለአንተ አላሰፋንልህምን ? ( አስፍተንልሃል ) ፡ ፡

how many a generation have we destroyed before them , who surpassed them in riches and splendor ?
ከእነሱም በፊት ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች እነሱ በቁሳቁስና በትርኢትም በጣም ያማሩትን ብዙዎችን አጥፍተናል ፡ ፡

how many a community that dealt unjustly have we shattered , and raised up after them another folk !
በዳይም ከነበረች ከተማ ያጠፋናትና ከኋላዋም ሌሎችን ሕዝቦች ያስገኘነው ብዙ ናት ፡ ፡

and ( have we not ) built over you the seven firmaments ,
ከበላያችሁም ሰባትን ብርቱዎች ( ሰማያት ) ገነባን ፡ ፡

and how many of the generations have we destroyed before them who were better in respect of goods and outward appearance !
ከእነሱም በፊት ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች እነሱ በቁሳቁስና በትርኢትም በጣም ያማሩትን ብዙዎችን አጥፍተናል ፡ ፡

and how many a city have we overthrown which were doing wrong , and we caused to grow up thereafter anot her nation !
በዳይም ከነበረች ከተማ ያጠፋናትና ከኋላዋም ሌሎችን ሕዝቦች ያስገኘነው ብዙ ናት ፡ ፡

and how many a generation have we destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [ outward ] appearance ?
ከእነሱም በፊት ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች እነሱ በቁሳቁስና በትርኢትም በጣም ያማሩትን ብዙዎችን አጥፍተናል ፡ ፡

have we taken them in mockery ? or , have our eyes swerved from them ? '
« መቀለጃ አድርገን ያዝናቸውን ? ወይስ ዓይኖቻችን ከእነሱ ዋለሉ ? »

and how many a generation have we destroyed before these , who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance ? * chapter : 19
ከእነሱም በፊት ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች እነሱ በቁሳቁስና በትርኢትም በጣም ያማሩትን ብዙዎችን አጥፍተናል ፡ ፡

and how many a generation ( past nations ) have we destroyed before them , who were better in wealth , goods and outward appearance ?
ከእነሱም በፊት ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች እነሱ በቁሳቁስና በትርኢትም በጣም ያማሩትን ብዙዎችን አጥፍተናል ፡ ፡
