and grudgingly spends very little for the cause of god ?
ጥቂትን የሰጠውንና ያቋረጠውንም ( አየህን ? )

for those who spend for the cause of god ,
በመልካሚቱም ( እምነት ) ያረጋገጠ ፤

fight in the cause of god , and know that god is hearing and knowing .
በአላህም መንገድ ( ሃይማኖት ) ተጋደሉ ፡ ፡ አላህም ሰሚ ዐዋቂ መኾኑን ዕወቁ ፡ ፡

and fight in the cause of allah and know that allah is hearing and knowing .
በአላህም መንገድ ( ሃይማኖት ) ተጋደሉ ፡ ፡ አላህም ሰሚ ዐዋቂ መኾኑን ዕወቁ ፡ ፡

then fight in the cause of allah , and know that allah heareth and knoweth all things .
በአላህም መንገድ ( ሃይማኖት ) ተጋደሉ ፡ ፡ አላህም ሰሚ ዐዋቂ መኾኑን ዕወቁ ፡ ፡

fight for the cause of god and know that god is all-hearing and all-knowing .
በአላህም መንገድ ( ሃይማኖት ) ተጋደሉ ፡ ፡ አላህም ሰሚ ዐዋቂ መኾኑን ዕወቁ ፡ ፡

do not consider those who are slain for the cause of god to be dead . they are alive but you are unaware of them .
በአላህ መንገድ ( ለሃይማኖቱ ) የሚገደሉትን ሰዎችም « ሙታን ናቸው » አትበሉ ፡ ፡ በእውነቱ ሕያዋን ናቸው ፤ ግን አታውቁም ፡ ፡

and collect ( wealth ) and hide it ( from spending it in the cause of allah ) .
ገንዘብን የሰበሰበንና ( ዘካውን ሳይሰጥ ) የቆጠረንም ፤ ( ትጠራለች ) ፡ ፡

believers , be steadfast in the cause of god and bear witness with justice . do not let your enmity for others turn you away from justice .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ለአላህ ቀጥተኞች በትክክል መስካሪዎች ኹኑ ፡ ፡ ሕዝቦችንም መጥላት ባለማስተካከል ላይ አይገፋፋችሁ ፡ ፡ አስተካክሉ ፡ ፡ እርሱ ( ማስተካከል ) ለአላህ ፍራቻ በጣም የቀረበ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህንም ፍሩ ፡ ፡ አላህ በምትሠሩት ሁሉ ውስጠ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

although they have benefits for men , the sin therein is far greater than the benefit . they ask you about what they should give for the cause of god .
አእምሮን ከሚቃወም መጠጥና ከቁማር ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡ « በሁለቱም ውስጥ ታላቅ ኃጢኣትና ለሰዎች ጥቅሞች አሉባቸው ፡ ፡ ግን ኃጢኣታቸው ከጥቅማቸው በጣም ትልቅ ነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡ ምንን እንደሚመጸውቱም ( መጠኑን ) ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡ « ትርፍን ( መጽውቱ ) » በላቸው ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁ ታስተነትኑ ዘንድ አላህ ለናንተ አንቀጾችን ይገልጽላችኋል ፡ ፡

and never think of those who have been killed in the cause of allah as dead . rather , they are alive with their lord , receiving provision ,
እነዚያን በአላህ መንገድ የተገደሉትን ሙታን አድርገህ አትገምታቸው ፡ ፡ በእርግጥ እነርሱ እጌታቸው ዘንድ ሕያዋን ናቸው ፤ ይመገባሉ ፡ ፡

( he boasts and shows off ) saying , " i have spent a great deal of money ( for the cause of god ) " .
« ብዙን ገንዘብ አጠፋሁ » ይላል ፡ ፡

and verily we shall try you till we know those of you who strive hard ( for the cause of allah ) and the steadfast , and till we test your record .
ከእናንተም ታጋዮቹንና ታጋሾቹን እስከምናውቅ ፣ ወሬዎቻችሁንም እስከምንገልጽ ድረስ በእርግጥ እንሞክራችኋለን ፡ ፡

and do not say of those who are killed in the cause of god , “ dead . ” rather , they are alive , but you do not perceive .
በአላህ መንገድ ( ለሃይማኖቱ ) የሚገደሉትን ሰዎችም « ሙታን ናቸው » አትበሉ ፡ ፡ በእውነቱ ሕያዋን ናቸው ፤ ግን አታውቁም ፡ ፡

the well-to-do and the rich among you should not fail to give to relatives , the destitute , and emigrants for the cause of god . be considerate and forgiving .
ከእናንተም የችሮታና የክብረት ባለቤቶች የኾኑት ለቅርብ ዘመዶችና ለድኾች በአላህም መንገድ ለተሰደዱ ሰዎች ላይሰጡ አይማሉ ፡ ፡ ይቅርታም ያድርጉ ፡ ፡ ( ጥፋተኞቹን ) ይለፉም ፡ ፡ አላህ ለእናንተ ሊምር አትወዱምን አላህም መሓሪ አዛኝ ነው ፡ ፡

go forth , whether lightly or heavily equipped , and strive and struggle , with your goods and your persons , for the cause of god . that is better for you , if you only knew .
ቀላሎችም ከባዶችም ኾናችሁ ዝመቱ ፡ ፡ በአላህም መንገድ በገንዘቦቻችሁ በነፍሶቻችሁም ታገሉ ፡ ፡ ይህ የምታውቁ ብትኾኑ ለናንተ በጣም የተሻለ ነው ፡ ፡

say , " whether you spend your wealth for the cause of god , willingly or reluctantly , it will never be accepted from you ; you are an evil doing people . "
« ወዳችሁም ኾነ ጠልታችሁ ለግሱ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተ ተቀባይ የላችሁም ፡ ፡ እናንተ አመጸኞች ሕዝቦች ናችሁና » በላቸው ፡ ፡

and spend of your substance in the cause of allah , and make not your own hands contribute to ( your ) destruction ; but do good ; for allah loveth those who do good .
በአላህም መንገድ ለግሱ ፡ ፡ በእጆቻችሁም ( ነፍሶቻችሁን ) ወደ ጥፋት አትጣሉ ፡ ፡ በጎ ሥራንም ሥሩ ፤ አላህ በጎ ሠሪዎችን ይወዳልና ፡ ፡

the hypocrites , both men and women , proceed one from another . they enjoin the wrong , and they forbid the right , and they withhold their hands ( from spending for the cause of allah ) .
መናፍቃንና መናፍቃት ከፊሎቻቸው ከከፊሉ ናቸው ፡ ፡ በመጥፎ ነገር ያዛሉ ከደግም ነገር ይከለክላሉ ፡ ፡ እጆቻቸውንም ( ከልግስና ) ይሰበስባሉ ፡ ፡ አላህን ረሱ ፡ ፡ ፤ ስለዚህ ( እርሱ ) ዋቸው ፡ ፡ መናፍቃን አመጸኞቹ እነሱ ናቸው ፡ ፡

( alms are ) for the poor who are straitened for the cause of allah , who cannot travel in the land ( for trade ) . the unthinking man accounteth them wealthy because of their restraint .
( የምትመጸውቱት ) ለእነዚያ በአላህ መንገድ ( ለመታገል ሲሉ ) ለታገዱት ድኾች ነው ፡ ፡ በምድር መኼድን አይችሉም ፡ ፡ ( ልመናን ) ከመጥጠበቃቸው ( የተነሳ ) የማያውቅ ሰው ሀብታሞች ናቸው ብሎ ይጠረጥራቸዋል ፡ ፡ በምልክታቸው ታውቃቸዋለህ ፡ ፡ ሰዎችን በችክታ አይለምኑም ፡ ፡ ከገንዘብም የምትለግሱት አላህ እርሱን ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡
