እነዚያም በገንዘቦቻቸው ላይ የታወቀ መብት ያለባቸው የኾኑት ፡ ፡

those who have brought the truth and have acknowledged it are those who have fear of god .
ያም በእውነት የመጣው በእርሱ ያመነውም እነዚያ እነርሱ አላህን ፊሪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

did i not commit you , o children of adam , not to worship satan who is your acknowledged foe ,
የአደም ልጆች ሆይ ! ሰይጣንን አትገዙ ፤ እርሱ ለእናንተ ግልጽ ጠላት ነውና በማለት ወደእናንተ አላዘዝኩምን ?

o believers , come to full submission to god . do not follow in the footsteps of satan your acknowledged foe .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ሁላችሁም በመታዘዝ ውስጥ ግቡ ፡ ፡ የሰይጣንንም እርምጃዎች አትከተሉ ፤ እርሱ ለእናንተ ግልጽ ጠላት ነውና ፡ ፡

in fact , he had brought them the truth and had acknowledged the messengers ( who were sent before him ) .
አይደለም እውነቱን ( ሃይማኖት ) አመጣ ፡ ፡ መልክተኞቹንም እውነተኛነታቸውን አረጋገጠ ፡ ፡

and [ there are ] others who have acknowledged their sins . they had mixed a righteous deed with another that was bad .
ሌሎችም በኃጢአቶቻቸው የተናዘዙ መልካም ሥራንና ሌላን መጥፎ ሥራ የቀላቀሉ አልሉ ፡ ፡ አላህ ከእነሱ ጸጸታቸውን ሊቀበል ይከጀላል ፡ ፡ አላህ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

and ( there are ) others who have acknowledged their faults . they mixed a righteous action with another that was bad .
ሌሎችም በኃጢአቶቻቸው የተናዘዙ መልካም ሥራንና ሌላን መጥፎ ሥራ የቀላቀሉ አልሉ ፡ ፡ አላህ ከእነሱ ጸጸታቸውን ሊቀበል ይከጀላል ፡ ፡ አላህ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

and those who argue concerning allah after he hath been acknowledged , their argument hath no weight with their lord , and wrath is upon them and theirs will be an awful doom .
እነዚያም በአላህ ( ሃይማኖት ) ለእርሱ ተቀባይ ካገኘ በኋላ የሚከራከሩት ማስረጃቸው በጌታቸው ዘንድ ብልሹ ናት ፡ ፡ በእነርሱም ላይ ቁጣ አልለባቸው ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱም ብርቱ ቅጣት አልላቸው ፡ ፡

and they denied them , though their souls acknowledged them , wrongfully and out of pride . behold , how was the end of the workers of corruption !
ነፍሶቻቸውም ያረጋገጧት ሲኾኑ ለበደልና ለኩራት በእርሷ ካዱ ፡ ፡ የአመጸኞችም ፍጻሜ እንዴት እንደ ነበረ ተመልከት ፡ ፡

and they denied them , though their souls acknowledged them , for spite and arrogance . then see the nature of the consequence for the wrong-doers !
ነፍሶቻቸውም ያረጋገጧት ሲኾኑ ለበደልና ለኩራት በእርሷ ካዱ ፡ ፡ የአመጸኞችም ፍጻሜ እንዴት እንደ ነበረ ተመልከት ፡ ፡

and ( there are ) others who have acknowledged their sins , they have mixed a deed that was righteous with another that was evil . perhaps allah will turn unto them in forgiveness .
ሌሎችም በኃጢአቶቻቸው የተናዘዙ መልካም ሥራንና ሌላን መጥፎ ሥራ የቀላቀሉ አልሉ ፡ ፡ አላህ ከእነሱ ጸጸታቸውን ሊቀበል ይከጀላል ፡ ፡ አላህ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

and there are others who have acknowledged their sins and mixed a good deed with another that was bad ; it is likely that allah will accept their repentance ; indeed allah is oft forgiving , most merciful .
ሌሎችም በኃጢአቶቻቸው የተናዘዙ መልካም ሥራንና ሌላን መጥፎ ሥራ የቀላቀሉ አልሉ ፡ ፡ አላህ ከእነሱ ጸጸታቸውን ሊቀበል ይከጀላል ፡ ፡ አላህ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

and when we took a covenant from you that , “ do not shed the blood of your own people nor turn out your own people from your colonies ” ; you then acknowledged it and you are witnesses .
ደሞቻችሁን አታፍስሱ ነፍሶቻችሁንም ( ከፊላችሁን ) ከአገሮቻችሁ አታውጡ የምንል ስንኾን የጠበቀ ቃል ኪዳናችሁን በያዝንባችሁ ጊዜ ( አስታውሱ ) ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ( በኪዳኑ ) አረጋገጣችሁ ፤ እናንተም ትመሰክራላችሁ ፡ ፡

and [ recall , o people of the scripture ] , when allah took the covenant of the prophets , [ saying ] , " whatever i give you of the scripture and wisdom and then there comes to you a messenger confirming what is with you , you [ must ] believe in him and support him . " [ allah ] said , " have you acknowledged and taken upon that my commitment ? "
አላህ የነቢያትን ቃል ኪዳን ከመጽሐፍና ከጥበብ ሰጥቻችሁ ከዚያም « ከእናንተ ጋር ላለው ( መጽሐፍ ) የሚያረጋግጥ መልክተኛ ቢመጣላችሁ በርሱ በእርግጥ እንደምታምኑበት በእርግጥም እንድትረዱት ሲል በያዘ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ አረጋገጣችሁን በዚህም ላይ ኪዳኔን ያዛችሁምን » አላቸው ፡ ፡ « አረጋገጥን » አሉ ፡ ፡ « እንግዲያስ መስክሩ ፤ እኔም ከእናንተ ጋር ከመስካሪዎቹ ነኝ » አላቸው ፡ ፡
