ግን የታላቅ ጌታውን ውዴታ ለመፈለግ ( ይህንን ሠራ ) ፡ ፡

i ( too ) am acting . thus ye will come to know
( ሙሐመድ ሆይ ! ) በላቸው « ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ! ባላችሁበት ኹኔታ ላይ ሥሩ ፡ ፡ እኔ ሠሪ ነኝና ፡ ፡ ወደፊትም ታውቃላችሁ ፡ ፡ »

they said : nay , but we found our fathers acting on this wise .
« የለም ! አባቶቻችን እንደዚሁ ሲሠሩ አገኘን » አሉት ፡ ፡

say to the infidels . " act as best you can , we are acting too ;
ለእነዚያም ለማያምኑት ባላችሁበት ሁኔታ ላይ ሥሩ ፤ እኛ ሠሪዎች ነንና በላቸው ፡ ፡

or do they say : " we acting together can defend ourselves " ?
ወይስ « እኛ የተረዳን ክምቹዎች ነን » ይላሉን ?

do not forestall ( the revelation before its completion ) by acting in haste .
በእርሱ ( በቁርኣን ንባብ ) ልትቸኩል ምላስህን በእርሱ አታላውስ ፡ ፡

and say to the unbelievers : ' act you according to your station ; we are acting .
ለእነዚያም ለማያምኑት ባላችሁበት ሁኔታ ላይ ሥሩ ፤ እኛ ሠሪዎች ነንና በላቸው ፡ ፡

however , those who had feared their lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires .
በጌታው ፊት መቆምን የፈራ ሰውማ ነፍሱንም ከዝንባሌዋ የከለከለ

and of those whom we have created there is a community guiding others with truth and acting justly according thereto .
ከፈጠርናቸውም ሰዎች በእውነት የሚመሩ በእርሱም ( ፍርድን ) የሚያስተካክሉ ሕዝቦች አልሉ ፡ ፡

and say to those who do not believe : act according to your state ; surely we too are acting .
ለእነዚያም ለማያምኑት ባላችሁበት ሁኔታ ላይ ሥሩ ፤ እኛ ሠሪዎች ነንና በላቸው ፡ ፡

say : ' my people , act according to your station ; i am acting ; and soon you will know
( ሙሐመድ ሆይ ! ) በላቸው « ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ! ባላችሁበት ኹኔታ ላይ ሥሩ ፡ ፡ እኔ ሠሪ ነኝና ፡ ፡ ወደፊትም ታውቃላችሁ ፡ ፡ »

say : " o people , act as best you can on your part , i am acting too . you will come to know in time
( ሙሐመድ ሆይ ! ) በላቸው « ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ! ባላችሁበት ኹኔታ ላይ ሥሩ ፡ ፡ እኔ ሠሪ ነኝና ፡ ፡ ወደፊትም ታውቃላችሁ ፡ ፡ »

i ( too ) am acting . ye will soon know on whom there cometh a doom that will abase him , and who it is that lieth .
« ሕዝቦቼም ሆይ ! በችሎታችሁ ልክ ሥሩ ፡ ፡ እኔ ሠሪ ነኝና ፡ ፡ የሚያዋርደው ቅጣት የሚመጣበትና እርሱ ውሸታም የሆነው ማን እንደኾነ ወደ ፊት ታውቃላችሁ ፡ ፡ ጠብቁም እኔ ከናንተ ጋር ተጠባባቂ ነኝና » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡

god does not forbid you from being kind and acting justly towards those who did not fight over faith with you , nor expelled you from your homes . god indeed loves those who are just .
ከእነዚያ በሃይማኖት ካልተጋደሏችሁ ከአገሮቻችሁም ካላወጡዋችሁ ( ከሓዲዎች ) መልካም ብትውሉላቸውና ወደእነርሱ ብታስተካክሉ አላህ አይከለክላችሁም ፡ ፡ አላህ ትክክለኞችን ይወዳልና ፡ ፡

and say to those who do not believe : " act according to your ability and way , we are acting ( in our way ) .
ለእነዚያም ለማያምኑት ባላችሁበት ሁኔታ ላይ ሥሩ ፤ እኛ ሠሪዎች ነንና በላቸው ፡ ፡

say , ‘ o my people , act according to your ability ; i too am acting . soon you will know in whose favour the outcome of that abode will be .
« ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ! በችሎታችሁ ላይ ሥሩ ፤ እኔ ( በችሎታዬ ላይ ) ሠሪ ነኝና ፡ ፡ ምስጉኒቱም አገር ( ገነት ) ለእርሱ የምትኾንለት ሰው ማን እንደኾነ ወደ ፊት ታውቃላችሁ ፡ ፡ እነሆ በደለኞች አይድኑም » በላቸው ፡ ፡

allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them . indeed , allah loves those who act justly .
ከእነዚያ በሃይማኖት ካልተጋደሏችሁ ከአገሮቻችሁም ካላወጡዋችሁ ( ከሓዲዎች ) መልካም ብትውሉላቸውና ወደእነርሱ ብታስተካክሉ አላህ አይከለክላችሁም ፡ ፡ አላህ ትክክለኞችን ይወዳልና ፡ ፡

tell them : " o my people , go on acting on your part , i am acting on mine . you will soon know whose is the guerdon of life to come . "
« ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ! በችሎታችሁ ላይ ሥሩ ፤ እኔ ( በችሎታዬ ላይ ) ሠሪ ነኝና ፡ ፡ ምስጉኒቱም አገር ( ገነት ) ለእርሱ የምትኾንለት ሰው ማን እንደኾነ ወደ ፊት ታውቃላችሁ ፡ ፡ እነሆ በደለኞች አይድኑም » በላቸው ፡ ፡

act according to your ability and way , and i am acting ( on my way ) . you will come to know who it is on whom descends the torment that will cover him with ignominy , and who is a liar !
« ሕዝቦቼም ሆይ ! በችሎታችሁ ልክ ሥሩ ፡ ፡ እኔ ሠሪ ነኝና ፡ ፡ የሚያዋርደው ቅጣት የሚመጣበትና እርሱ ውሸታም የሆነው ማን እንደኾነ ወደ ፊት ታውቃላችሁ ፡ ፡ ጠብቁም እኔ ከናንተ ጋር ተጠባባቂ ነኝና » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡
