በቀሪዎቹ ውስጥ የኾነች አሮጊት ብቻ ስትቀር ( እርሷ ጠፋች ) ፡ ፡

except by a mercy from us and for an enjoyment until some time .
ግን ከእኛ ለኾነው ችሮታና እስከ ጊዜ ሞታቸው ለማጣቀም ( አዳንናቸው ) ፡ ፡

during a single day . we have deferred this day for an appointed time .
( ይህንን ቀን ) ለተቆጠረም ጊዜ እንጂ አናቆየውም ፡ ፡

except our mercy which could enable them to enjoy themselves for an appointed time .
ግን ከእኛ ለኾነው ችሮታና እስከ ጊዜ ሞታቸው ለማጣቀም ( አዳንናቸው ) ፡ ፡

and we made them a thing past , and we appointed them for an example to later folk .
( በጥፋት ) ቀዳሚዎችና ለኋለኞቹ ( መቀጣጫ ) ምሳሌም አደረግናቸው ፡ ፡

and they came to believe ; so we allowed them to enjoy the good things of life for an age .
አመኑም ፡ ፡ እስከ ጊዜ ድረስም አጣቀምናቸው ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , leave them alone in their dark ignorance for an appointed time .
እስከ ጊዜያቸውም ድረስ በጥምመታቸው ውስጥ ተዋቸው ፡ ፡

and we made the earth break forth with springs ; so that the water met for an affair already decreed .
የምድርንም ምንጮች አፈነዳን ፡ ፡ ውሃውም ( የሰማዩና የምድሩ ) በእርግጥ በተወሰነ ኹነታ ላይ ተገናኘ ፡ ፡

about whom it has been decreed that he will mislead those who take him for an ally , and conduct them toward the punishment of the blaze .
እነሆ ! የተከተለውን ሰው እርሱ ያጠመዋል ፡ ፡ ወደ ነዳጅ እሳት ስቃይም ይመራዋል ማለት በርሱ ላይ ተጽፏል ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , exercise patience ; we have given them respite only for an appointed time .
በእነሱም ( መቀጣት ) ላይ አትቻኮል ፡ ፡ ለእነሱ ( ቀንን ) መቁጠርን እንቆጥርላቸዋለንና ፡ ፡

and on the day when the last day is established , the guilty will swear that they did not stay except for an hour ; this is how they keep straying .
ሰዓቲቱ በምትሆንበት ቀን ከሓዲዎች « ከአንዲት ሰዓት በስተቀር ( በመቃብር ) አልቆየንም » ብለው ይምላሉ ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁ ( ከእውነት ) ይመለሱ ነበሩ ፡ ፡

he causes the night to enter into the day and the day to enter into the night . he has made subservient to himself the sun and moon , each moving in an orbit for an appointed time .
ሌሊትን በቀን ውስጥ ያስገባል ፡ ፡ ቀንንም በሌሊት ውሰጥ ያስገባል ፤ ፀሐይንና ጨረቃንም ገራ ፡ ፡ ሁሉም እተወሰነ ጊዜ ድረስ ይሮጣሉ ፡ ፡ ይህ ጌታችሁ አላህ ነው ፡ ፡ ንግሥናው የእርሱ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ እነዚያም ከእርሱ ሌላ የምትግገዟቸው የተምር ፍሬ ሽፋን እንኳ አይኖራቸውም ፡ ፡

he giveth it for an inheritance to whom he will . and lo ! the sequel is for those who keep their duty ( unto him ) .
ሙሳ ለሰዎቹ ፡ - « ለአላህ ተገዙ ታገሱም ፡ ፡ ምድር ለአላህ ናትና ፡ ፡ ከባሮቹ ለሚሻው ያወርሳታል ፡ ፡ ምሰጉንዋም ፍጻሜ ለጥንቁቆቹ ናት » አላቸው ፡ ፡

do they not realize that god , who has created the heavens and the earth , has the power to create their like ? he has given them life for an appointed time of which there is no doubt .
ያ ሰማያትንና ምድርን የፈጠረ አላህ ብጤያቸውን በመፍጠር ላይ ቻይ መኾኑን በእርሱ ጥርጣሬ የሌለበትም ጊዜ ( ለሞትም ለትንሣኤም ) ለእነርሱ የወሰነ መኾኑን አላወቁምን በደለኞችም ከክህደት በቀር እምቢ አሉ ፡ ፡

each of them will remain in motion for an appointed time . he regulates all affairs and explains the evidence ( of his existence ) so that perhaps you will be certain of your meeting with your lord .
አላህ ያ ሰማያትን የምታዩዋት አዕማድ ሳትኖር ያነሳት ከዚያም በዐርሹ ( ዙፋኑ ) ላይ ( ስልጣኑ ) የተደላደለ ፀሐይንና ጨረቃንም የገራ ነው ፡ ፡ ሁሉም ለተወሰነ ጊዜ ይሮጣሉ ፡ ፡ ነገሩን ሁሉ ያስተናብራል ፡ ፡ በጌታችሁ መገናኘት ታረጋግጡ ዘንድ ተዓምራቶችን ይዘረዝራል ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , tell them , " i have no control over my suffering or benefits unless god wills . every nation is destined to live for an appointed time .
« ለራሴ ጉዳትንም ጥቅምንም አላህ ከሻው በስተቀር አልችልም ፡ ፡ ለሕዝቦች ሁሉ የተወሰነ ጊዜ አልላቸው ፡ ፡ ጊዜያቸው በመጣ ወቅት አንዲትን ሰዓት አይቆዩም ፤ አይቀደሙምም » በላቸው ፡ ፡
