ለሰዎች አስፈራሪ ስትኾን ፡ ፡

አላህም ከምድር ማብቀልን አበቀላችሁ ፡ ፡

and the night as a cover ,
ሌሊቱንም ልባስ አደረግን ፡ ፡

and made the night as a covering ,
ሌሊቱንም ልባስ አደረግን ፡ ፡

( the sun ) as a shining torch
አንጸባራቂ ብርሃንንም አደረግን ፡ ፡

and have appointed the night as a cloak ,
ሌሊቱንም ልባስ አደረግን ፡ ፡

all this as a provision for you and your cattle .
ለእናንተም ለእንስሶቻችሁም መጠቀሚያ ይኾን ዘንድ ( ይህን ሠራን ) ፡ ፡

and god has laid the earth for you as a carpet ,
አላህም ምድርን ለእናንተ ምንጣፍ አደረጋት ፡ ፡

and drive the guilty as a thirsty herd towards hell ,
ከሓዲዎችንም የተጠሙ ኾነው ወደ ገሀነም የምንነዳበትን ( ቀን አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡

a preacher for god by his permission and as a shining torch .
ወደ አላህም በፈቃዱ ጠሪ ፣ አብሪ ብርሃንም ( አድርገን ላክንህ ) ፡ ፡

" then he shall leave it as a level smooth plain .
« ትክክል ሜዳም ኾና ይተዋታል ፡ ፡

መቀበል

abiders therein : excellent it is as an abode and as a station .
በእርሷ ውስጥ ዘውታሪዎች ኾነው ( ይስሰጣሉ ) ፡ ፡ መርጊያና መኖሪያይቱ አማረች ፡ ፡

« መሓሪ አዛኝ ከኾነው አላህ መስተንግዶ ሲኾን » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

ታምራቶችንም ከመላክ የቀድሞዎቹ ሰዎች በእርሷ ማስተባበልና ( መጥፋት ) እንጂ ሌላ አልከለከለንም ፡ ፡ ለሰሙድም ግመልን ግልጽ ተዓምር ኾና ሰጠናቸው ፡ ፡ በእርሷም በደሉ ፡ ፡ ተዓምራቶችንም ለማስፈራራት እንጂ አንንልክም ፡ ፡

they see the ( day ) indeed as a far-off ( event ) :
እነርሱ ( ያንን ቀን ) ሩቅ አድርገው ያዩታል ፡ ፡
