እንጀራ መያዝም ረሱ፥ ለእነርሱም ከአንድ እንጀራ በቀር በታንኳይቱ አልነበራቸውም።

are you secure that he who is in the sky will not make the earth swallow you while it quakes ?
በሰማይ ውስጥ ያለን ( ሰራዊት ) በእናንተ ምድርን ቢደረባባችሁ ወዲያውም እርሷ የምታረገርግ ብትኾን ትተማመናላችሁን ? ( አትፈሩምን ? )

god knows exactly who among you hold the others back , who say to their brethren , " come over to our side , " and they seldom take part in the fighting .
ከእናንተ ውስጥ የሚያሳንፉትን ፣ ለወንድሞቻቸውም « ወደኛ ኑ » የሚሉትን ፣ ውጊያንም ጥቂትን እንጂ የማይመጡትን በእርግጥ አላህ ያውቃቸዋል ፡ ፡

allah knows those of you who discourage others , and those who say to their brethren , ‘ come to us ! ’ and take little part in the battle ,
ከእናንተ ውስጥ የሚያሳንፉትን ፣ ለወንድሞቻቸውም « ወደኛ ኑ » የሚሉትን ፣ ውጊያንም ጥቂትን እንጂ የማይመጡትን በእርግጥ አላህ ያውቃቸዋል ፡ ፡

are you not aware that allah knows all that is in the heaven and the earth ? surely it is all preserved in a book .
አላህ በሰማይና በምድር ውስጥ ያለን ሁሉ በእርግጥ የሚያውቅ መኾኑን አታውቅምን ይህ በመጽሐፍ ውስጥ ( የተመዘገበ ) ነው ፡ ፡ ይህ በአላህ ላይ ገር ነው ፡ ፡

( are you saying this ) because you were asked to take heed ? the truth is that you are a people who have exceeded all bounds . ”
« ገደ ቢስነታችሁ ከእናንተው ጋር ነው ፡ ፡ ብትገሰጹ ( ትዝታላችሁን ? ) በእውነቱ እናንተ ወሰን አላፊዎች ሕዝቦች ናችሁ » አሏቸው ፡ ፡

are you not aware that allah has knowledge of what is in the heaven and earth ? this is ( recorded ) in a book .
አላህ በሰማይና በምድር ውስጥ ያለን ሁሉ በእርግጥ የሚያውቅ መኾኑን አታውቅምን ይህ በመጽሐፍ ውስጥ ( የተመዘገበ ) ነው ፡ ፡ ይህ በአላህ ላይ ገር ነው ፡ ፡

allah created not the heavens and the earth , and that which is between them , save with truth and for a destined end . but truly many of mankind are disbelievers in the meeting with their lord .
በነፍሶቻቸው ( ሁኔታ ) አያስተውሉምን ? ሰማያትንና ምድርን በመካከላቸው ያለውንም ሁሉ አላህ በእውነትና በተወሰነ ጊዜ እንጂ አልፈጠራቸውም ፡ ፡ ከሰዎቹም ብዙዎቹ በጌታቸው መገናኘት ከሓዲዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

and those who do evil will be flung down on their faces in the fire . are you not rewarded according to your deeds ?
በመጥፎም የመጡ ሰዎች ፊቶቻቸው በእሳት ውስጥ ይደፋሉ ፡ ፡ « ትሠሩት የነበራችሁትን እንጅ አትመነዱም » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

and we have sent down rain from the sky in a measured amount and settled it in the earth . and indeed , we are able to take it away .
ከሰማይም ውሃን በልክ አወረድን ፡ ፡ በምድርም ውስጥ አስቀመጥነው ፡ ፡ እኛም እርሱን በማስወገድ ላይ በእርግጥ ቻዮች ነን ፡ ፡

and as for those who denied the truth and belied our signs and the meeting in the hereafter -- they shall be brought to the torment .
እነዚያም የካዱትማ በአንቀጾቻችንና በኋለኛይቱም ዓለም መገናኘት ያስተባበሉት እነዚያ በቅጣቱ ውስጥ የሚጣዱ ናቸው ፡ ፡

and we sent down water from the sky in proper measure , then stored it in the earth ; and indeed we are able to take it away !
ከሰማይም ውሃን በልክ አወረድን ፡ ፡ በምድርም ውስጥ አስቀመጥነው ፡ ፡ እኛም እርሱን በማስወገድ ላይ በእርግጥ ቻዮች ነን ፡ ፡

it behoves not a prophet to take captives until he has sufficiently suppressed the enemies in the land . you merely seek the gains of the world whereas allah desires ( for you the good ) of the hereafter .
ለነቢይ በምድር ላይ እስቲያደክም ድረስ ለእርሱ ምርኮኞች ሊኖሩት አይገባም ፡ ፡ የቅርቢቱን ዓለም ጠፊ ጥቅም ትፈልጋላችሁ ፡ ፡ አላህም መጨረሻይቱን ይሻል ፡ ፡ አላህም አሸናፊ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

and they say : " when we are ( dead and become ) lost in the earth , shall we indeed be recreated anew ? " nay , but they deny the meeting with their lord !
« በምድርም ውስጥ ( በስብሰን ) በጠፋን ጊዜ እኛ በአዲስ መፈጠር ውስጥ እንሆናለን ? » አሉ ፡ ፡ በእውነቱ እነርሱ በጌታቸው መገናኘት ከሓዲዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

and we sent down from the heaven water in measure , and we caused it to settle in the earth ; and verily to take it away we are able .
ከሰማይም ውሃን በልክ አወረድን ፡ ፡ በምድርም ውስጥ አስቀመጥነው ፡ ፡ እኛም እርሱን በማስወገድ ላይ በእርግጥ ቻዮች ነን ፡ ፡

allah has not created the heavens and the earth and what is between them except in truth and for a specified term . and indeed , many of the people , in [ the matter of ] the meeting with their lord , are disbelievers .
በነፍሶቻቸው ( ሁኔታ ) አያስተውሉምን ? ሰማያትንና ምድርን በመካከላቸው ያለውንም ሁሉ አላህ በእውነትና በተወሰነ ጊዜ እንጂ አልፈጠራቸውም ፡ ፡ ከሰዎቹም ብዙዎቹ በጌታቸው መገናኘት ከሓዲዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

again , we gave the book to musa to complete ( our blessings ) on him who would do good ( to others ) , and making plain all things and a guidance and a mercy , so that they should believe in the meeting of their lord .
ከዚያም ለሙሳ በዚያ መልካም በሠራው ላይ ( ጸጋችንን ) ለማሟላት ነገርንም ሁሉ ለመዘርዘር መጽሐፉን ( ለእስራኤል ልጆች ) መሪና እዝነት ይኾን ዘንድ ሰጠነው ፡ ፡ እነርሱ በጌታቸው መገናኘት ሊያምኑ ይከጀላልና ፡ ፡

for those whose hopes are in the meeting with allah ( in the hereafter , let them strive ) ; for the term ( appointed ) by allah is surely coming and he hears and knows ( all things ) .
የአላህን መገናኘት ተስፋ የሚያደርግ ሰው ( ይዘጋጅ ) ፡ ፡ የአላህ ቀጠሮ በእርግጥ መጪ ነውና ፡ ፡ እርሱም ሰሚው ዐዋቂው ነው ፡ ፡

and we sent down from the sky water ( rain ) in ( due ) measure , and we gave it lodging in the earth , and verily , we are able to take it away .
ከሰማይም ውሃን በልክ አወረድን ፡ ፡ በምድርም ውስጥ አስቀመጥነው ፡ ፡ እኛም እርሱን በማስወገድ ላይ በእርግጥ ቻዮች ነን ፡ ፡
