ሐዋርያት ፡ - « የመርየም ልጅ ዒሳ ሆይ ! ጌታህ በእኛ ላይ ከሰማይ ማእድን ሊያወርድልን ይችላልን » ባሉ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ « ምእመናን እንደ ኾናችሁ አላህን ፍሩ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

send down for us a table spread with food from heaven , so that it may be a feast for us , for the first of us and for the last of us : a sign from you . give us our sustenance , for you are the best of sustainers . "
የመርየም ልጅ ዒሳ አለ ፡ - « ጌታችን አላህ ሆይ ! ለእኛ ለመጀመሪያዎቻችንና ለመጨረሻዎቻችን ባዕል ( መደሰቻ ) የምትኾንን ከአንተም ተአምር የኾነችን ማእድ ከሰማይ በእኛ ላይ አውርድ ፡ ፡ ስጠንም ፡ ፡ አንተ ከሰጪዎች ሁሉ በላጭ ነህና ፡ ፡ »

can your lord send down to us a table from the sky ? ’ said he , ‘ be wary of allah , should you be faithful . ’
ሐዋርያት ፡ - « የመርየም ልጅ ዒሳ ሆይ ! ጌታህ በእኛ ላይ ከሰማይ ማእድን ሊያወርድልን ይችላልን » ባሉ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ « ምእመናን እንደ ኾናችሁ አላህን ፍሩ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

those who vow abstinence from their wives must wait for four months . but if they reconcile — god is forgiving and merciful .
ለእነዚያ ከሴቶቻቸው ( ላይቀርቡ ) ለሚምሉት አራትን ወሮች መጠበቅ አለባቸው ፡ ፡ ( ከመሐላቸው ) ቢመለሱም አላህ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነው ፡ ፡

for those who take an oath for abstention from their wives , a waiting for four months is ordained ; if then they return , allah is oft-forgiving , most merciful .
ለእነዚያ ከሴቶቻቸው ( ላይቀርቡ ) ለሚምሉት አራትን ወሮች መጠበቅ አለባቸው ፡ ፡ ( ከመሐላቸው ) ቢመለሱም አላህ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነው ፡ ፡

go about , then , in the land for four months . and know that verily ye cannot escape allah , and that verily allah is the humiliator of the infidels .
በምድር ላይም አራት ወሮችን ( ጸጥተኞች ስትኾኑ ) ኺዱ ፡ ፡ እናንተም ከአላህ ( ቅጣት ) የማታመልጡ መኾናችሁንና አላህም ከሓዲዎችን አዋራጅ መኾኑን ዕወቁ ፤ ( በሏቸው ) ፡ ፡

' for four months you shall journey freely in the land . but know that you shall not render allah incapable , and that allah will humiliate the unbelievers '
በምድር ላይም አራት ወሮችን ( ጸጥተኞች ስትኾኑ ) ኺዱ ፡ ፡ እናንተም ከአላህ ( ቅጣት ) የማታመልጡ መኾናችሁንና አላህም ከሓዲዎችን አዋራጅ መኾኑን ዕወቁ ፤ ( በሏቸው ) ፡ ፡

" o god , our lord , send down a table well laid out with food from the skies so that this day may be a day of feast for the earlier among us and the later , and a token from you . give us our ( daily ) bread , for you are the best of all givers of food . "
