o man ! what has beguiled you from your lord , the gracious one ,
አንተ ሰው ሆይ ! በቸሩ ጌታህ ምን አታለለህ ?

but he beguiled a great many of you . why did you not then understand ?
ከእናንተም ብዙን ፍጡር በእርግጥ አሳስቷል ፡ ፡ የምታውቁም አልነበራችሁምን ?

leave them to feast and revel , beguiled by hope ; they will come to know soon .
ተዋቸው ይብሉ ፤ ይጠቀሙም ፡ ፡ ተስፋም ያዘናጋቸው ፡ ፡ በእርግጥም ( መጥፎ ፍጻሜያቸውን ) ያውቃሉ ፡ ፡

show us those who beguiled us of the jinn and humankind . we will place them underneath our feet that they may be among the nethermost .
እነዚያም የካዱት ( በእሳት ውስጥ ኾነው ) « ጌታችን ሆይ ! እነዚያን ከጋኔንና ከሰው ያሳሳቱንን አሳየን ፡ ፡ ከታችኞቹ ይኾኑ ዘንድ ከጫማዎቻችን ሥር እናደርጋቸዋለንና » ይላሉ ፡ ፡

those who turn their backs after the way of guidance has been opened to them , have been surely tempted by satan and beguiled by illusory hopes .
እነዚያ ለእነርሱ ቅኑ መንገድ ከተብራራላቸው በኋላ ወደ ኋላቸው የተመለሱት ሰይጣን ለእነርሱ መመለሳቸውን ሸለመላቸው ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱም አዝዘናጋቸው ፡ ፡

so leave them to eat and enjoy themselves and let them be beguiled by vain hopes ; for soon they will realise [ the truth ] .
ተዋቸው ይብሉ ፤ ይጠቀሙም ፡ ፡ ተስፋም ያዘናጋቸው ፡ ፡ በእርግጥም ( መጥፎ ፍጻሜያቸውን ) ያውቃሉ ፡ ፡

who took their religion as a sport and a play and whom the life of the world beguiled . so today we will forget them even as they forget the meeting of this their day and as they were ever gainsaying our signs .
እነዚያ ሃይማኖታቸውን መሳለቂያና መጫወቻ አድርገው የያዙ የቅርቢቱም ሕይወት ያታለለቻቸው ይህንን ቀናቸውን መገናኘትን እንደረሱ በተአምራታችንም ይክዱ እንደነበሩ ዛሬ እንረሳቸዋልን ፡ ፡

this , forasmuch as ye made the revelations of allah a jest , and the life of the world beguiled you . therefor this day they come not forth from thence , nor can they make amends .
ይህ እናንተ የአላህን አንቀጾች መቀለጃ አድርጋችሁ በመያዛችሁና ቅርቢቱም ሕይወት ስለአታለለቻችሁ ነው ፤ ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡ ዛሬ ከእርሷ አይወጥጡም ፤ እነርሱም በወቀሳ አይታለፉም ፡ ፡

that is because ye took the revelations of allah scoffingly , and there beguiled you the life of the world . today , therefore , they will not be taken forth therefrom , nor will they be suffered to please allah .
ይህ እናንተ የአላህን አንቀጾች መቀለጃ አድርጋችሁ በመያዛችሁና ቅርቢቱም ሕይወት ስለአታለለቻችሁ ነው ፤ ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡ ዛሬ ከእርሷ አይወጥጡም ፤ እነርሱም በወቀሳ አይታለፉም ፡ ፡

he said , “ you throw ! ” and when they threw , they beguiled the eyes of the people , and intimidated them , and produced a mighty magic .
« ጣሉ » አላቸው ፡ ፡ ( ገመዶቻቸውን ) በጣሉም ጊዜ የሰዎቹን ዓይኖች ደገሙባቸው ፡ ፡ አስፈራሩዋቸውም ፡ ፡ ትልቅ ድግምትንም አመጡ ፡ ፡

' jinn and human , did there not come to you messengers of your own who narrated to you my verses and warned you of encountering this day ' they will reply : ' we bear witness against ourselves ' indeed , the life of this world beguiled them . they will bear witness against themselves that they were unbelievers .
የጋኔንና የሰዎች ጭፍሮች ሆይ ! ፡ - « አንቀጾቼን በእናንተ ላይ የሚተርኩ የዚህንም ቀናችሁን ( ቅጣት ) ማግኘትን የሚያስፈራሩዋችሁ ከእናንተው የኾኑ መልክተኞች አልመጧችሁምን » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡ « በነፍሶቻችን ላይ መሰከርን ፤ ( መጥተውልናል ) » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ የቅርቢቱም ሕይወት አታለለቻቸው ፡ ፡ በነፍሶቻቸውም ላይ እነርሱ ከሓዲዎች የነበሩ መኾናቸውን መሰከሩ ፡ ፡
